Nah they have supplies of each beer set aside for each session. The popular ones do tend to run out by the end of the session though.
That's what they tell you but the amount of container beers that are sold out as soon as you walk in the door on Sunday is very disappointing. It's been happening since at least 2021. It seems like the way to fix it this year is to not have a Sunday session at all.
Should be free, it's so mass sponsored these days. You still have to buy beers when you are there anyway
Last GABS I also got a voucher book for breweries. Offers like free beers, BOGO etc. The GABS ticket paid itsef off within a few usages of these vouchers given the current beer prices. Apart from the voucher book GABS is a lot of fun you get to try beers from far away breweries you normally wouldnt travel to and find a personal favourite. Lots of mini games etc. So overall GABS is totally worth paying for.
I think it’s each to their own. The mini games don’t interest me one bit and I’m fussy with beers so unless a voucher book is heavy on imperial stouts and hazy ipa, neipa etc it not value for me
Yeah entry doesn't get you any free drinks like the gin festival. Agreed that it should be a free event.
No free drinks, but entertainment (bands?) , and a festival glass it seems, so that's something i suppose?
Damn, bought but just realised the Friday ones seem to be for the day session during work hours. That's a waste of $6 then.
Take the day off work and be paid to drink. Win-Win
Friday is one session, Midday - 10PM. It's going to be messy
