First post here. I've been recently eyeing this beauty for a while, noticed I missed the previous deal for the same price at the end of Jan. Looks like Starbuy is having a weekend only sale on this blue dial Super Seville.
Great time to snag a beautiful timepiece with buttery smooth seconds hand.

Why not both?
I will , prob, if the gold one goes on sale for 479 lol
If $479 then dooo eeeit!
Easily the best looking colour, then green.
This one doesn't exactly look expensive but they always look different in real life hey.
What do you think of timex 1983 E line https://timex.com/collections/timex-automatic-1983-e-line?sr…? From the pictures, I prefer them than the super seville.
Go the SS, any timex is not worth the retail (but ok for A$200-250 max). They lacking character a bit (and no doubt all the same quartz movement, sill does the job and accurate, aint no precisionist movement though).
The e line is actually an automatic (miyota 8 something). I just prefer the look better than the ss. And yes you're right about not buying it at rrp. I will wait until the next sale from Timex. I got the q panda chrono and I am happy with it (wearing it right now actually lol)
@kolorijo: Yeah sounds ok. Yeah I got a few timex , all quartz though. I'm not buying any more Miyota 8 series, the 9 is much better and makes for a thinner watch.
Very nice but battery changes, nah.
Very easy to do yourself for a couple of bucks
Do people still buy mechanical watches?
Same here, for what purposes?
It's jewelry for men
Tech-toy watches are jewellery for boys :P.
Like anything tech, they are obsolete in no time, so you are forced to constantly worry about upgrading (and worry about them going flat).Traditional watches may not be essential but they still have a purpose and useful.
The best GPU isn't necessary either, but kids on here never cop flak for buying one.
You’re kidding right?
Nope not at all. I dont know a single person who doesnt own a smart watch. But hey, im sure there are some people out there who still own a rotary phone.
you need to get out of the bat cave a bit more..
Stuff charging a 'smart' watch every day, charging your phone is enough.
Not all people want constant notifications either.
I don't mind tech toys but it's just an expensive, inefficient phone. While smartwatches have become incredibly popular, there’s still a strong market for mechanical watches. Many people appreciate them for their craftsmanship, heritage, and the fact that they don’t need constant charging or software updates. Mechanical watches also offer a level of individuality that smartwatches don’t—whether through unique designs, complications, or even just the act of choosing something that isn’t mass-produced and identical to what everyone else is wearing. Some enjoy the tactile experience of winding a watch, while others see it as a long term investment or even a piece of functional art. Just because smartwatches exist doesn’t mean mechanical watches have lost their appeal—if anything, their staying power proves they still have a dedicated following.
I don't any have smart watch, and never will. I either wear one of my analogue mechanical watches, or one of my digital casios, or no watch (at work when I'm constantly washing my hands).
Yes, I have a bunch of them and nota single smart watch hehehe
Yes, class ;)
I wear my smart watch to the gym that's it.
"this beauty"? what?…..Great Scott! 37mm. and straight from Back to the Future.
Beauty still definitely in the eye of the beholder.
Low key was hoping for the gold one today, but prob better off buying a dehumidifier for the insane humidity that will be around after this cyclone…
