Same price at Amazon AU too.

  • Is this the lowest it's been in a while? Tempted to pull the trigger.

  • Can someone smarter than me confirm that NN-SF564W is the same model, just in white?

    • Appears that way, they all use the same trim kit, so they are likely identical in size.

They are all 27L flatbed and 1,000W power.

My parents are using the previous model SF574SQPQ in March last year ($259.98).

  • Wow, some horrible reviews on this, lucky i looked. This link is for the model before, but seems to be a few photos and comments on the QSQPQ

Overwhelmingly positive reviews on this model on the good guys website:
      https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/panasonic-27l-1000w-flatbed-m…

      Maybe they made improvements?

      • Yeah maybe, but the last time i listened to JB and GG's reviews, i purchased a rubbish TCL and the reviews on PR matched the issues i had with the TV.

    • I just rebought this version after the prior version the same size flatbed died after a decade. Seems to be travelling well and got @ TGG for 337. Solid deal.

      • likewise - for ~$300 recently (needed a black model, so couldn't get CostCo - been that price for awhile)

like GS says below, many of the reviews are dumb. What ppl need to pay attention to is whether the insides rust out, which has been plaguing many manufacturers in recent years

(so hard to find proper stainless steel interior)

i own one and would never go back to rotary table microwave again, on product review website dumb reviews like takes more time to heat than old one is due to wattage if old one was higher wattage, dumb things like display too dim, seems ok to me.

    • We parents have that one, they love it, only heard praises no complaints.

Or maybe because it was a present from me. :D

    • This extremely good product easy to clean and you can use big square plate..

  • I had one of the previous panasonic 1000w flatbed models since the old masters days..
I decided to "downgrade" to a smaller sharp flatbed that puts out less heat as we only use it for quick reheats thesedays.

Highly recommend flatbed over turntable, easier to clean, more space, etc..

    My experience with the Pana:
    1. Interior light is a small LED and it doesn't do much to light up the space
    2. Exterior stainless steel while great, I found mine warped over time (heat?)
    3. Works great in an open area, mine struggled in a cabinet (with a lot of space)
    4. With longer use (10 minutes+ even with 2-3 minute breaks in between) the buttons would sometimes just stop working until the unit cooled down.
You couldn't press STOP either.. Only way to stop it was to open the door.

Might be fixed with the newer versions but figured I'd post my experience with the older model anyway..

      1. Exterior stainless steel while great, I found mine warped over time (heat?)

Is it sitting above an oven?

  • I love this flatbed microwave.
It’s much better than my old LG NeoChef that caught on fire (well documented issue online).

  • The NN-SF574S (which seems to be another variation on this model) is only in the middle of the pack of the August 2024 Choice rating - 75%.

The top 2 Panasonics were both turntable models:
    87% NN-ST75LB
    86% NN-ST776S

    • not so much a variation as the previous model, looks like

  • They did the white one for me for $254 at GG. Fits better with my aestheticcc
