      no app but should be able to plug into your phone directly and it will come up as a storage device. from there, you can copy and paste from your phone to the usb drive. your iphone needs to support usb-c though.

      just curious, how did you know it was a fake?
      I bought one from a deal posted on here a while ago and it has been a lot slower than it is meant to be/i was expecting it to be but didnt see anything on it that made it look fake.

        Yep mine was incredibly slow as well and got super hot (almost too hot to touch) when transferring data. This mirrored the experience of another person in a previous OzB thread who also said his drive was a fake. So to be honest it was an assumption on my oart but I do not believe the genuine drives exhibit either of these problems!

          thanks, that makes sense, the main issue i have been having is that when i attempt to move a file or anything, even just renaming there is a delay of like 1-3 seconds. unfortunately probably too late to do anything about it now though, my order was in july of last year, i just didnt use it for a bit and so didnt notice
