Thanks OP, ordered one. I ordered one last time but the order was cancelled after 1-2 months due to no stock.

Two of these for less than the "on special" oxo one…

Were you under the impression that people were buying this because they thought it was the cheapest possible solution?

What's the difference in pulling up and pushing down, to twisting, I just think this oxo plug is not as great as the stainless steel ones

          What's the difference

          Aesthetics, for one

        • +1

Utility wise.. if it works as advertised, there should be ALOT of difference.

But I'll find out tomorrow I guess.

for an addition $6 each, I'll take the additional convenience it provides (if it does)

        • These don't clog as easily, the stainless ones would clog and you need to dig in to clear the debris. I prefer the look of stainless but practically this is much nicer to use.

With the OXO Good Grips range you are paying a premium for the extensive R&D they've put into the product.

OXO Good Grips products should be superior ergonomically to anything else on the market. They've redesigned things to make them more functional.

OXO design with accessibility in mind and extensively test their products with a broad range of people to ensure they are functional for everyone including people with disabilities.

The interesting thing to me is how they never mention "disability" in their marketing because people are ableist.

Those are what I bought these to replace.

The builder put these in throughout my house and they suck. These flower strainers let everything go down into the sink.

    • Thanks, actually been looking for these as requested by an older relative. Keen to try the Oxo one for myself, but it's no longer available as any of the options for $14. Is available at PoK for $14
but $5 postage kills it unless you are close enough for the free C&C.

  • thanks op! noob question: how do I know it fits in my sink?

    • Sinks and baths have a standard size in Australia I’m pretty sure but if there is any plumbers on OZB chime in

      • +3

Size differs based on sink type and age

  • Is it OOS? I'm unable to add in the cart šŸ›’.

    • just ordered one. perhaps try mobile+4G?

      • I have to change the address to place an order. Amazon is not delivering many items to my address.

I just updated the deal link to force Amazon to show you the Amazon AU listing, but you should unfortunately see the dreaded not deliverable to this address error message at checkout.
