      The Tax Office Fortitude Valley

      • What’s minimum spend

        • T&C's do not say anything about minimum spend so I would assume none

  • where is the guest list?

  • Nice gesture if you can take advantage of it.

  • I tried to click the voucher option on the guest list but the only option that showed up was the 9pm one.
Does it mean it's already out of stock?

Edit: never mind, must use the link from the deal page, not the guest list link. I've reserved it now.

  • Thanks OP!

That one's gotta go on the most unappealing business names ever list.

    • Right? Particularly for a restaurant. Like calling a barber shop, The Post Office. Why?

      • +2

And to complicate things, this restaurant is inside a heritage-listed building that was a former post office. The actual Auspost serving the area is like a block away.

Yeah just find the post office. Not that one, the other one.

  • Carpool anyone? I still have the sandbags. Too heavy for the bin, plan to only ditch two every week. It's actually a terrible idea to use sand in the garden, as ants love digging through sand, it would inevitably attract ant colonies.

    • unless it's count as illegal dumping maybe the local kids park sandpit or the beach at the gold coast

      • +1

From what I heard on the radio it's a different kind of sand to the beach so they don't want people dumping it there.

I'm surprised they're not asking for ID to prove you're impacted.

  • $35 will get you 1 drink there

    • Got a cocktail ($22) and a Canadian Club Schooner ($13)

  • can someone comment on how much the table reservations cost and whether you need one to use the $35 voucher?

    • All I did was book through the link and then collect the voucher within the 6-9pm timeframe and then go upstairs. I just sat down. Idk if you need to reserve the tables but it wasn't busy and there's heaps of smaller high tables. Then order and pay at the bar with the voucher and some guy brings out the food to your table later. Good value and fairly simple. It's like a club environment tho so loud music and DJ at some point
