Amazon and Shipping Times?

Hey Guys,

I ordered something from amazon on the 26th of December and to my surprise it arrived this morning. However i also ordered something on the 9th of December and it has still not arrived, when would be the time i would consider it lost in post and have to contact amazon?

First time i've ordered from amazon so not sure on postage times, was really surprised that 1 of them arrived in close to a week.

    There was a post on here before Christmas about Amazon acknowledging slow delivery times for goods sent from their warehouses on the east coast US as a result of Post Tropical Storm Sandy.

    I know I received yesterday a piece of mail from a NY store which was mailed before Christmas, so can attest to this slowness.

    You can inquire with Amazon as to where it was dispatched from, but my guess is that this is the case.

    Where does tracking say it is at present?

    My last two orders have arrived in 1-2 weeks. They always come with a tracking number though.

      Yer there is tracking, but hasn't updated in 2 weeks.
