Grabbed the 2-1 Wireless charger, thanks
Arrived today. Phone and watch charging at the same time. I’ll need further testing to see how hot it gets… Works well powered by this Anko 1-port USB-C PD 18W wall charger for $10 I’ve been using for the last 4+ years.
Edit: It appears to have a small LED next to the USB-C input that lights when powered but not charging and then once you add a device to be charged it goes out. I guess that could be handy to find the charger in the dark.
Is it a fast charger? I actually prefer a normal charger for overnight charging. @sween64
Charging speed is determined by Wattage and USB standard. This is 18W and USB-PD. Is that slow enough for you?
@sween64: I intend to use this with the Anker 65W charger. But I actually don’t prefer fast charging as if you leave the phone connected overnight, then the fast charging doesn’t add any value but will hit the battery life.
@Shahw: The wireless charger in this deal maxes at 15W. The Anker 65W will power it, but only at 15W. If you're concerned about battery life you should consider wired charging. Battery life degrades due to heat produced by either fast charging or wireless charging.
Fortunately, the wireless charger in this deal doesn't get particulary hot, maybe just a little warm. Definitely not as bad as the Cygnett MagCharge Magnetic Wireless Charging Cable. I used to use one of those and it got real hot.
Any options for Samsung S25 ultra and Galaxy watch ultra?
140W USB-C in a car charger?? is it safe??
(genuine question if any ozb car/outdoors enthusiasts can answer)
Good question isn't that usually fused at 10 amps/120W?
I don't know about that but I remember watching tiktoks of cheaper car chargers that wouldn't stop charging and melt themselves some causing a fire.
these were probably 45W to 65W car chargers, if a cheap 140W car charger has a fault and can't turn itself off I think it would turn into disaster real quick.
