  • Tried Bunnings? White tiles are normally pretty cheap there.

I think there's a number of factors to consider before trying too hard to find cheap tiles:

    1. How big is the bathroom (m2) and is it just the one bathroom? Are you tiling right up the wall?
Reason; The smaller the bathroom the higher proportion of cost will be with the labour (unless you are planning on doing the tiling and waterproofing yourself)

    2. Do you care about what colour and size/shape the tiles are or do you have very specific requirements? If you are after a bargain you probably need a lot of time on your hands to go searching

    3. Are the tiles you looking for ceramic or porcelain (if the latter the RRP is typically much higher and so you stand to save more money if you are hunting for those)

At the end of the day if it's a small bathroom, you are looking for cheap ceramic tiles and you are getting a professional to do it then it's probably not worth your time trying too hard to find a cheap bargain.

However if you must and you are in Sydney then coincidentally one that I'd recommend at least having a look at is the one advertising on this site, they have quite a few types, most are quite cheap, you can bargain with them and they also have end of line lots that are going even cheaper (in case the ad changes it's Tile Factory Outlet in Smithfield)

Another is Law's Auctions in Wetherill Park. In the end after a few weekends of searching I worked out for my 2x2 bathroom it wasn't worth me wasting the time searching and I got exactly what I wanted from Amber for $700, considering I may have spent at least $350 anywhere else but the total bathroom reno cost was $5500 (with me doing the demo myself) it wasn't worth wasting the time trying to shop around. Still go to them first since they all have a decent selection and you might find what you're looking for.

If you are after a very standard tile then Bunnings can also be a good option, they often discount these, however I've never seen a property that wasn't worth doing nicely, you'll certainly get your money back when you sell.

  • Try www.taplowtiles.com.au

Its my cousins shop, its more of a boutique with a finer selection of designer tiles although he get ahold of anything really.

Just tell him Sunny referred you.

  • Tile Factory Outlet and Tile Mega Mart, basically opposite each other.

  • When we did our bathroom reno, we got our tiles from Pacific tiles on Carlingford street in Sefton. They seem to have a good variety of tiles to choose from.

  • If you want cheap and best tiles then buy from https://www.cheapestiles.com.au
