Great price for a new model but just bear in mind C5 is almost identical to C4.
Main differences are:
Slimmer remote without numbers
Slightly brighter
Slightly better handling of dark SDR scenes
Slightly better image processing, particularly HDR dynamic tonemappingSo overall not much.
But still better. Some will notice the brightness
And through TGGC the C5 is half a grand cheaper.
Sounds like a downgrade for the remote

Given the deal is still going they probably haven’t got to it yet.
Conservatively assuming 3700+ clicks converted into 400-500 units worth 1.7 to 2.1mil.
Assuming their break even is around 5200, which translates into a loss of A$1k each unit.
They stand to lose 0.4-0.5mil if they fulfilled all these orders.

This seems more like introductory pricing. Pricing is still less than RRP and less than there last year models current pricing.
All C5s have disappeared from the site so clearly it was a pricing error. Let's see if they cancel people's orders.

Yes, at the check out you get to choose delivery date/time. You can always call TGG and reschedule.
On the GG commerical site that option wasnt there. My order is via GG Commercial. Will call them.

Looks like 77s are getting cancelled which was the better deal
C4 65 is selling for 3k or 2.7k in some retailers so 400$ more for C5 was a steal too but I think 77" they might have limited supply so cancelled the rest.
Nah c4 has been sub $2-2.5k many times. No one is paying $2.7-3k for a c4

even public goodguys website says 65" b5 model delivery to be started from 12th April. so may be they just dont have that model in stock near me.

You're right, I didn't want to buy between 70-80 inches but the deal is too good to pass up.
Your own opinion of how big of a screen you'd like is no concern of others.
