  • Still nothing in the account. Customer Service says to wait for the 120 days.

    • It's been 72 days for me.

      • 76 days for me… its not even tracked, let alone confirmed.

I have requested update from Shopback.

        • yeah same, let us know how you go

  • I am thinking of change NBN provider but do not want them to reject my claim just because of it

  • After a month and a half with no issues, my Optus NBN internet stopped working. In the middle of the night, no one touched a cable or a device. The best Optus support could do is to offer me to switch to 4G. I don't know whether anyone had similar issues, bit I believe the service was switched off on purpose, to make me go elsewhere and invalidate the cashback.

My service is still working fine (FTTP in Sydney).

    • So what Optus said about the issue ? Nbn fault ?

      • Optus technical support don't see any issues on their side and say my service is working. They're blaming my Telstra Smart Modem 3, which has worked flawlessly with Telstra before and Optus (for 45 days). It's FTTC Perth btw.

        • Lol, they have no idea. Probably lodge a complaint with Optus ?

          • +1

@yht: Any complaint would give them the chance to change the contract and save themselves $350. 4G coverage is equal or better than NBN in my area, so I'll just switch to my 4G modem until Shopback approves the cashback (expected mid July).
