My aging mother has mentioned often that she would love to go on a paddle boat on the Murray river, we live in Sydney so it would include a couple of nights away. I wonder if knows of any deals, we would be happy with a cabin and it would probably be for 4 people two adults and two kids, I am thinking in February after the school holidays as it should be cheaper, any deals or suggestions? thanks

Often such packages are available on <travelauctions.com.au>, especially for times outside school holidays. I had a look, with nothing showing at the moment, but new things added regularly.
sorry to re-start this conversation, but just wonder if anyone can tell me about cheap trips on the murray river and I need at least two cheap nights accomodation as will be travelling from Sydney with two adults and two primary school children. I have joined travelacutions and am watching for any deals, is there anything else, especially a way to get cheap murray river day or 1/2 day trip, thanks

They are located in Adelaide. We are in Sydney too, but we use them. Ben has been helpful and there are specials which combine in with other tours. Not sure if children are allowed, (we travel without) but do take account of the temperature wherever you travel as it will impact on her, given her age. Its best to go in the cooler temperatures if you can. PM me for more info.
