The Pass App $30 Credit Notification

Hi,

I received a push notification on my iPhone saying The Pass app had sent me a $30 credit to my email address - I think it showed my address in the notification

Firstly, it looked odd because it showed my email address in the notification and when I checked my email there was nothing from The Pass.

Clicking on the notification simply redirected to opening The Pass app. I have contacted The Pass about this strange notification and now wondering if it’s some type of scam.

What are people’s thoughts on this?

    If it's a push notification from the app it is unlikely to be a scam. It is likely the $30 birthday voucher, try checking your junk email for the email.

    The Pass has kindly confirmed it wasn’t a spam and provided the code for $30. The code is unique as I tried it on my partners account. Anyway, not sure why I didn’t receive the actual email (yes checked spam folder). It’s definitely not a birthday code or two transactions promotion…
