Samsung Trade in - Can't Find Phone to Send Back

Hi all, I recently ordered the Samsung S25 Ultra using this and traded in my very old Samsung A32 which had a trade in value of $30.

Now I am unable to find this phone to send, I have received my mobile yet but wondering will Samsung charge me $30 for not returning the phone or will I be charged $200 (Trade in bonus) + $100 (Additional Trade in Bonus code via chat).

I had a chat with the Samsung representative and have been advised that all discounts will be charged back - I am wondering how is this possible as I had authorised only $30 as security holding deposit.

Anyone else has been this situation before? Will I be charged all these fees

a) Security Charge;
(b) Late Return Fee;
(c) In-Eligible Device Fee;
(d) Mis-Grading Device Fee.

  They will keep the security deposit. They may charge you a late-return fee although this can be challenged based on their t&c. They won't charge for any bonuses.

  Can't find phone but you had the IMEI handy for the trade in? 😆

  Don't worry, you will not be charged the $200 or the $100.

  Asurion will charge you $30 (A32 trade in value (you got a $30 discount on your S25 so that evens out anyway)) and also charge you $60 for not sending the traded phone.

    that's what they say or maybe are told to say. Real experiences of people differ, bonus values have not been cancelled.
