After the stuff up of the Kogan. I have found dvi cameras now have gopro black editions for $444 with free postage to metro areas. I have not yet purchased one as I am waiting so I can use the TRS at the airport in over a months time. This is cheaper than JB. And seem to have stock. Thought I would post as many people are holding out for them.

Are they really that bad? I have not had the joy of ordering anything from them yet.
My GoPro HD Hero 2 from the DWI group buy a few months back turned up quickly and without incident. If you are after one of these and have the money, go for it. :)

They wont, I've already asked, that price was definitely a mistake and probably priced as the silver edition, wasn't until later they realized and then dropped the stock levels to 0 to prevent anyone else from ordering. Either this or it was a stunt to get more people to the kogan website.
The said to me they didn't know when they were getting more stock. Really disappointed I didn't jump on it when I had the chance.

DWI is grey import I believe?
JBhifi was selling it at 460, for an extra 16 bucks, you'll have local warranty
O/P might want to check, but pretty sure this would be direct import/No-GST applicable, so TRS can't be claimed.
I picked my Black edition from JB about 3 weeks ago for $445 :)
