    Grabbed at 499. It is an excellent watch without many fancy features that you wouldn't use.

  Bit annoyed that Epix Pro which is newer and higher spec doesn't get Strength Coaching but FR955 and FR255 models get it. There is a lot of chatter on forums that Fenix 8 didn't sell well so they are holding back on releasing features on Epix and Fenix7 and its Pro range to entice people to upgrade.

    I have the solar. Unless you are outside consistently during the middle of the day you won't see much solar gain. Don't pay extra for the solar.
