Deals on a Budget Washing Machine

My 10 yr old Euromaid stopped working today.

Keen on a new one, 5-7 kg with good water and electricity rating. For instance, I see a cheapo Esotto for $331 at appliances Online. Others are Seiki, Solt.

Or it is worth the long term saving to do a better brand? I have 3 washes a week in my household.

  • How much moneys? Consider this Haier

    • That's a good deal. They claim full manufacturers warranty. Is that true?

      • +1

Home Clearance is part of Winning Group, wholly reputable

  • LG are pretty good. Access to GG commercial or similar?

Can you actually name your budget?

    • Was hoping for 500 or less. But I'd rather get something that will last year's.

    • Just signed up for gg commercial.

  • It's a bit of a fluke really. I am currently using an LG which is over 20 years old and still going perfectly, touch wood. I gave away a Samsung last year which was 15 years old and going perfectly. But just because they had a good day in the LG and the Samsung factory all those years ago is no guarantee that the one you buy today will be as good.

    • I think manufacturing is different today than 20 years ago

  • We bought a TECO 5.5 kg with 3yr warranty for $400. Wife is happy with it

  • We bought a Hoover from a friend - a couple of years later found out it was probably 18 years old. Lasted probably another 15 years as we have a fantastic appliance repair guy.

We bought another second hand Hoover through him - one of his friends gets the old ones traded in and fixes them up.

    $225 including delivery.

Would have had it for at least ten years now.

    Worth a shot!
