  • Needed a power bank, thanks OP. Ratings on Amazon seen OK at 4.6 stars and many purchases.

  • need at minimum 20W

There is the 22w version, but I still bought this one as it's lighter and smaller

  • +2

a bit on the smaller side but this B41 model tested high value Wh per $ on this youtube channel. (Anker 325 20k 15W output seems to also be good value, sounds like a old model though)
(pause to see the list) https://youtu.be/rQ5Fnenxy1g?si=2f46c76_RMnFX6wY&t=433

but normal size 25k 65W output B63 model beats it on efficiency.

Already got 2 got cygnett another one thanks op

  • Always missed this, bargain, thanks

  • Purchased, thanks op

No thanks. 15W is just too slow for 2025.
And this is 2018 stock. I wonder how long will the battery last for.
It's like buying an iphone 9 today.

    • 15W is just too slow for 2025.

I have to agree. but at the same time I have been chugging along with my 13000mAh Anker until now which only does 12W out. 😭

well actually I bought a 10k Samsung but that lives in my bag and only does 20W out because 25W out is only with Samsung fast charging phone.

I just got my first actually new 65W output powerbank. nothing I have charges faster than 65W (USB chargers I have are all are 65W max).

      • I am still hunting for a power bank that is 65W, 10000mAh, and <= 180g at a bargain price.
If there is one, that will be perfect when I travel overseas with my 65W USB-C charging fujitsu laptop.

        • Keep dreaming lol

This deal's power bank is 198g and even this super tiny 20W one is 195g.

          • @CodeXD: I know, but my laptop is only around 800g.
Don't really want to bring an extra brick with me for a whole day.

            • @AsukaST: Maybe a trick-question…li-ion power-bank must follows the law-of-chemistry?

              Fujitsu-laptop draws ~ '19V @ 3.42A (Power: 65W)', https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/282996939153?
              Anker 737 reported '100W (20V, 5A)', https://www.techradar.com/phones/phone-accessories/anker-737…
Power-bank need to carry the weight of li-ion battery-pack, & have all the hardware of a power-supply-charger.

Real-world-experience often fall-short of reported & claimed? 'It seems that 'That’s an average efficiency rate of around 60 percent', https://www.engadget.com/computing/accessories/best-power-ba…

              • @ab c:

that was my understanding too. that energy stored in powerbank -> charging output capacity was roughly 70% efficient (good) to as low as 50% efficient (poor) due to heat and conversion loss.

but youtube channel Allthingsoneplace if calculations are accurate, was able to measure 80%+ efficiency for energy stored -> charging output capacity for two INIU power banks.

                • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm:

                  ~ 60% efficiency rate is @ DEVICE's battery being charge…capturing the heat and conversion loss @ mobile-phone's battery as-well.

Many tests measured power-banks @ their usb-port & hence capture ~ HALF of the power loss.

Mobile phone owners are free to test this for themselves & be surprise. Power-off your device (or turn on Aeroplane-mode: close-enough?): how many times does your existing power-bank can charge your device?

                  I did commend INIU for their candid-claim, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16414309/redir, https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07CZDXDG8?smid=A3BJUU30I41JQZ&…

ok good point. yes so the 80% efficiency is measured at the powerbank USB port output, and not at the end of the cable going into the phone. (well ideally you would measure after the V conversion inside the phone again but can't do that very easily). so I guess yes knowing your phone battery capacity and how many actual charges you can get would be one way.

so maybe the calculations given to me by ai in the comment I made on the other deal are quite accurate for actual energy going into phone, because it mentions battery to device % efficiency loss (up until the end of the cable) then another voltage conversion % efficiency loss (conversion inside phone just before battery of 5V to 3.7V).

          65W, 10000mAh, and <= 180g

so the only thing you would need from this deal is the high output. tbh I don't see many 10k powerbanks with high output, probably because the smaller the battery the more stress and heat it puts on it at higher output. so instead of normal claimed cycles of around 500 to 70% original battery capacity, you will only get like 200 or 250 cycles.

          at a bargain price.

like under $20? I think this is asking too much.

the only 10k proper high output powerbanks I have seen is from Cuktech (yes funny name, but they are the ones who designed the popular Xiaomi No.20).

          Cuktech 100W out ($39.99USD 290grams) https://www.amazon.com/CUKTECH-10000mAh-Portable-Charging-Co…
it's their only premium 10k model, their budget 10k model maxxes at 30W. I saw these available on Aliexpress awhile ago (be careful with sellers).

Australian stock would be this only Xiaomi 165W out $79 (says 360g but I remember reading somewhere it's 400g). https://www.amazon.com.au/PB1165MI-Integrated-Display-Portab…

since you only need 65W obviously Cuktech wins with lower weight.

    • Where are you seeing when the current batch was manufactured? Just because it was first listed in 2018 doesn't mean this lot has been sitting in a warehouse for 7 years, unless I'm missing something?

      • +2

because it was first listed in 2018 doesn't mean this lot has been sitting in a warehouse for 7 years

yeah it's a misunderstanding. Date first available is actually when the Amazon listing was made. I often find new release products through google listed on amazon from months ago, but they just don't have a price and haven't sold any yet.

but 2018 also shows that it is a very old model. so they could have stopped making them in 2020 and still selling old stock. I recognize this INIU is old just by the paw logo.

      • These are random Chinese no name OEM brands.
They never manufacture multiple batches with the same spec.
Rather, they make one single batch with a super huge quantity to squeeze the cost per unit as low as possible.
It's just a common Chinese business model as a world factory.

        • +2

These are random Chinese no name OEM brands.

but INIU has managed to have quite a bit of success compared to others so they have sold a lot globally and keep growing by releasing new models.

I would consider them slightly above this Charmast that was just posted for example. there a lot of these random brands on amazon. I agree these will be squeeze the cost per unit as low as possible.

even Cuktech sounds like another random brand name but they make good powerbanks. the Xiaomi No.20 is a budget range Cuktech product and it performs very good. https://www.amazon.com/stores/page/ADD5C68F-946C-4950-BED5-9…

          • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: Sorry I should have explained a bit more.
By saying No name, i mean these brands would not take any responsibility when something goes wrong, unlike Apple or Samsung.
They will just collapse and reopen with a new name and a new company.
Also the product is not exclusive to that particular brand. You can easily find an identical one with a different printed brand name.
Several "brands" share the same product to target different markets and to keep cost low.

            • @AsukaST: Their RRP for the one popular on here is $47. The cheap price is to boost the brand awareness and to earn the popularity. I doubt if anyone here is loyal to the brand and willing to pay full price. Likewise, a no deal post of them will be burried quickly with no mercy. Anker is also a Chinese brand with more success.

15W is just too slow for 2025

Mobile-phone charging: link suggest that this 15W max. rated, output ~ 2Ampre dependent on device ampre-draw, https://www.androidauthority.com/iniu-power-bank-review-3049…

For many people, it'll at-least keep their mobile-phone running, while it's connected-to this power-bank: even phone with 5000mAh battery. Maybe minor battery-level increase…can be confirm via AccuBattery-APP.

      INIU 22.5W unit output @ 3Ampre (5V), which allows for heavier-use, while it's connected-to their power-bank.

      My experience with a new-INIU 22.5W max. rated, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16407977/redir

      And this is 2018 stock

      My new-INIU via Amazon-AU Mar-25 purchased & as a guide: the label-printing (serial# & model#) seems to suggest a few-years-old.

      DEVICE-Charging
      Great to see candid claim: 1.7 Charges Samsung S23 (3900mAh). This equates to ~ 66% efficiency-level @ device, (39000 X 1.7)/10000mAh

      • yeah a few comments at the top here said they are happy with 15W version because it's smaller and lighter.

can be handy for many people also it's good value per Wh.

  • Just bought one. Thanks
You never know when a $12 power bank can really save your day.
