Came across this deal from a Facebook link. The Good Guys have it listed at $79 and the price beat is $74. By far cheaper on Amazon at the moment. Also comes with a 2 year warranty.

    I have this exact same model. Size is great along with the ceramics however, I do miss an auto feature which I assume brings to boil and then drops to low.
    I just set it to high and then flick it to low before I head to work.

      I think you can leave it on "low" and it will eventually reach the temperature anyway, just takes a bit longer

    I've got one of these too. Pretty bare bones in terms of features, but decent for the price. Does the job well.

      I've got a Phillips pressure cooker that is brilliant. It also has the slow cooker function. I needed something a bit bigger

    Anyone else a bit concerned that the "Built-In Lid Holder" is actually just that there is a handle on both the outside and inside of the glass lid?

    You use this 'inner' handle to hook the lid onto the slow cooker base's side handle.

    Which seems inconvenient since whatever you're cooking is liable to splatter on to the inside of the lid (or at least that's what my current slow cooker does).

    Do yourself, your community and the planet a favour and drop in to your local salvos/vinnies/whatever and buy a second hand one for under 20 bucks, they are everywhere and they never die

    Kmart has a 6.5L one for $45 which you can set a timer, and when the timer ends it will change to the “keep warm” setting
