How Good Are TechFast RMA/Warranty Times?

I sent some RAM to TechFast from the recent 5080 build that arrived in their warehouse last Monday. I was told late last week that I would get the new RAM sent out early this week and it is now near COB on Thursday.

I've sent many follow up emails with no response and I'm considering filing a chargeback for the replacement RAM cost on PayPal. This does not give me much confidence if I have to send the whole system back or if an expensive component such as the GPU has an issue.

How has everyone else's experience been with RMA and warranty specifically?

    People's past experiences may not be representative of yours. Far too many variables that will differ.

    • I've tried, and he's ghosted me on OzBargain for about a week. Still no response.

      RAM failed a memtest and it should be a quick replacement.

          Yeah, I mean with the GPU shortages and stuff I can somewhat give them leniency and benefit of the doubt. With RAM it should be a simple replace and send.

  • It's like they have 1 support person on email, 1 on ozbargain, 1 on phones, and none of them cooperate or talk to each other.

    Try facebook message and messaging luketechfast on ozbargain, its annoying but they're usually helpful once you do get through

        • Thanks, I messaged them yesterday and they replied asking for me to email them. Then I said I tried and gave them my email address for them to follow up and now I’ve been ghosted again 👍

          • @just-human: Are you sure their replies aren't going to your junk mail?.. or being blocked by your mail server..

              @Kelvin: Yes, but to update - I sent a complaint letter using the ACCC tool to them earlier and they replied (finally) saying they were shipping out the RAM the same day. It is now on its way.

    Fast shouldn't be a thang.

      This reminds me of a joke a work mate made.. We started together but he was in consulting world I was in service desk at the time.

      He lodged a request to our ticketing system (used ServiceNow) - I wasn't handling his ticket but the person who did, let it sit for ages. 2 months later he didnt get a response/fix still.

      He said to me 'ServiceNow or maybe later?' and it make me laugh uncontrollably for no good reason. Was dumb, but witty.
