      Did anyone else buy this mix, and think it tasted like metho?

      Ended up returning 8 bottles.

      After pushing through 2, using 3/4 of one in cooking, and 1/2 a bottle left on the bench to use in the lawn mower when it runs out of petrol :P

        I only had Taylors Promised Land Shiraz Caberne and Grant Burge Batch 26 Merlot before, which were fine. But haven't had the rest before. Sorry it turned out to be crap, shouldn't have recommended it.

          It's all good, not your fault.

          I wondered if it was just our batch or if others had the same experience.

          Perhaps I drank the wrong bottles first, haha.

          This is the only review on it I could find.

          Although the rating may not be particularly high (3.1/5), the author does say in the end:

          A very worthy cider. Damn, the French have got this formula worked out.

        I ordered exactly the same as you and they arrived today, in Melbourne. Though, I was a bit surprised to see they are only 2% alcohol..

        Oh well, hopefully they taste nice :)

          Yes. I was very dismayed to see 2% alcohol. Not happy about that. I have no idea what I am going to do with it.

    Loved the $30 off before Christmas. $20 also good value. All good for wine (have a dozen coming from Fisher and Paykel) unfortunately. Would have got a case of beer but no free delivery.

      I was drinking a Grant Burge Rose in Malaysia over Christmas, was pretty good. Not sure it was this one though.

      Send it back if you don't like it. Went some white back last month ,no problem,
