That's it. I'm looking for a decent, cheapish wallet, for cards and cash, that is not exactly ugly. And because I'm tired of 'fashion' wallets 'pleather' peeling, I'd like to avoid that. Plastic? Leather? Idk, sustainable recycled corkboard?
Maybe with that 'RFID blocker'?
Idk, any ones that you would recommend?
Ideas for a Ladies Wallet That Isn't Gonna Be 'Pleather' That Peels?

Maybe 10 cards? And I was thinking cheap, but if someone knows of a "hey, spend a bit more on this…" product they recommend, i'd spend a bit more, maybe $50?
Have a look at Oroton card holders. The outlet has them on sale, and they're real leather. The stitching may fail eventually but the quality is usually top notch. Consider stainless steel card holders but they're probably not as chic.
I bought a "man's" wallet from bellroy. I'll never go back. Why are wallets marketed to women so ridiculously big!!
Bellroy have some cute colours now. I got a teal. There's some nice tan/browns or black.
Not sure how long I've had it. At least 6 years. Maybe longer. Still going strong, albeit scratched up, but that's because I throw it in with my keys in all my bags and don't treat it well.
Just get one on sale obviously.ladies wallet
How are you going to carry it? Pocket or hold/handbag?
Throw it in the handbag.
If you're looking for something a bit out of left field, Status Anxiety makes a purse which is big enough to take around 20 cards plus coins, folded notes etc and while it's leather it also won't break the bank. https://www.statusanxiety.com.au/products/volatile-dusty-ros…. They have a range of wallets, various sizes / prices and seem quite sturdy.
Personally I'd avoid Guess, their leather peels, their linings rip, all in all not worth their prices.
It peels because Guess is pleather
That explains a lot.
Maybe with that 'RFID blocker'?
I know that it's possible to do an RFID attack in theory, but is it really a threat in real life? Does anyone actually try to use this method to obtain data? Especially since lots of people have more than one card - which, when stacked closely together, seems to prevent the reading either card (in my experience).
The downside of an RFID blocker wallet is that office/apartment swipe cards have to be taken out of the wallet every time to swipe vs putting the wallet against the reader or just opening and scanning one side of the wallet.
but is it really a threat in real life?
It happens.
Ive been using Fossil purses for years. Leather, withstand an absolute beating and fit a Samsung S23/24 (sorry, cant help with oversized phones)
https://www.fossil.com/en-au/products/logan-rfid-flap-clutch…
Occasionally will come on sale but nothing below $120-130
Fossil aren't what they used to be. The inside still peels.

No idea on how many cards. We talking 3 or 4, or we talking 18~20? Can you convert some of your cards and put them on your phone?
No idea on budget. Are you talking you only want to spend $15, or are you happy to spent $300 if it does what you want and lasts a long time?
I asked my wife, because hers is a few years old and has never peeled, cracked, split, come unglued or unstitched and she has about 4.8, maybe 4.9 million cards in it and it has room for her phone as well and for folding cash… as for RFID blocking… not really sure, I would assume not.
This is the model exactly (just hers is in a different colour) but it is along the same lines as this Guess Laurel Double Zip Organiser and I think, from memory, she got it on sale for a shade less than $100 bucks.
