Nintendo Switch OLED White + Super Mario Bros Wonder + 1-Year NSO $498 + Del ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Harvey Norman

83

The Nintendo Switch OLED Model White bundle, which includes Super Mario Bros. Wonder and a 12-month online subscription, is now available at Hardly Norman for $498 plus Delivery

Until 13 April, if you spend $500 or more, you’ll get a 10% bonus gift card. So, if you get the items delivered, you’ll definitely cross the $500 mark. I know some people don’t trust buying from Hardly Norman, so I suggest price matching at JB Hi-Fi or TGG to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

I’m not sure if the price will go down even more because the Nintendo Switch 2 is coming out soon.

Happy ozbargaining!

Not sure why you'd buy a last generation console given the discount doesnt seem that great?

If you factor in the 10% gift card it will be $498 plus you get $49.80 gift card , did the calculation for you

      • +2

That may be true, or price match Office Works with the Target price and use Everyday Rewards points 20x gift cards and pay $478 and have $47.80 in everyday reward dollars or 4780 in Qantas points.

Think you forgot the over 500 part for the Harvey deal, your deal is actually 505.95 including delivery, with a 50.59 gift card

If you resisted buying a Switch for 8 whole years… but now, right before the new one in two months, you buy the old switch you are a lost cause.

I'm just having fun you do you. The new switch 2 is $699 and the games will be like $110 for digital I think and $120 for physical, yeah gross. If anyone doesn't own a switch, just buy old one second hand when new one comes, buy on fb marketplace or w/e and games. Better yet if you have a good enough pc you know what to do ;-)

    • I have a friend who named his per Sudachi which worked a treat.

    • Why not just get a $50 wiiu and mod it?

    • If I were to "hypothetically" (wink wink) mod a Switch, how much would that cost?

you buy this if you cant afford the switch 2 as recommended by Nintendo.

    no one:
me: fk it, I'll wait for Switch 2 Lite

    • Mood!

I have a Switch 2 ordered, I've been playing on the Switch Lite recently after years away from Switch all together and it's such a nice size that I'm low key worried the Switch 2 will suck to hold. I don't mind the Steam Deck but if it was any bigger it'd be a real pain in the arse tbh, I would rather a Switch 2 Mini tbh.

      • my take on it is I have a gaming PC and Xbox Series X, I don't really need another big screen gaming setup, nor feel like playing any of my switch games on a big screen

my switch Lite (hyrule edition is awesome btw) is my primary portable gaming setup and I love it! it's just the right size, it's light and solid, portable and just awesome. I don't even want switch OLED or 2 because of the size. I'll wait till they release something similar size, if at all, because there's nothing really where my switch light is lacking. maybe better details and few more fps in Nier Automata won't hurt.. lol

        • I've got a million emulator consoles and the aforementioned Deck, I've got ones that are keychain sized and 6 or so inch screens with controllers hooked up and everything in between. Tall boy, candy bar, clamshell, you name it. I like almost every form factor…There is nothing better than just the basic bitch tried and trued candy bar PSP style Switch Lite. Back when I had the original Switch, you could always feel the Joycons separated from the console those precious few millimetres and it had this awkward kind of feel that, even though you knew it wouldn't, they might fall off or disconnect or snap off or whatever. I never liked the way they felt on the console itself, the Switch Lite solved this for me. I think I'm gonna really dislike it on the S2 and am slowly remembering a whole bunch of things I didn't like on the Switch that the Switch Lite fixed. More manageable screen real estate? Check. Slightly better battery? Check. Built in controls? Check. Can throw it in my pocket? Check. I'm not normally wanky enough to buy a case/bag for portables but if I end up taking the S2 anywhere out of the house, I think I might, seems too easy to knock the controllers off the side. Haven't missed that!

    Everyone sure except OP…

  • How a deal?

    RRP on redundant tech.

    Jusssssssssttttttt wait for switch 2

  • For $300 I’ll bite, but even then it’s not that good a deal

  • Picked one up at Kmart for the "Kids" a couple weeks ago, they had it behind service desk with a clearance tag on for $350. Still sealed I'd say it must have been a black friday return.

Certainly wouldn't pay $489 with the switch 2 on the way but more than happy at $350.

    • Do kmart stock switch?

      • Don't know if they still do, only reason I didn't post it here was it was the last one they had.

It wasn't shown online. I originally saw it early in the week, went back on Saturday, was still there so grabbed it.
