    • It doesn't even have to be manual. There are scripts and plugins that auto refill stock after X amount of time. Then there's legitimate auto stocking, like on eBay where the sellers stock system can only add X amount of time at a time. Though I don't believe that to be the case here.

    very dodgy seller!

  • Lame. Mine got cancelled too.

  • +1

    Awful marketing trick.

  • Apparently they only sold 28 blenders.
It was a marketing trick unfortunately
    Very Sad

  • +2

    Order cancelled.

Refund me and dont email me again.

  • +2

Now they got our details including phone number.

  • +1

My order also got cancelled but apparently by me according to their email "was canceled at your request".
    Hehehe 100% I didn't request the cancellation.

  • +1

    no bueno

  • +2

    cancelled, we need to riot.

  • +1

Mine hasn't been cancelled yet. I wonder if they are going through them in reverse order.

    • Mine ended up in the "promotions" folder. It was just a mass marketing email, nothing specific to the order.

      • I don't see that email at all. I hope I get the blenders, I don't want to spend any more time researching or choosing blenders. I chose Afterpay as payment method. I had Apple's Private Relay on when buying it, I always have it on. I wonder if there's any factors that might let some people's orders go through. I can't believe they have someone working on a weekend cancelling orders either.

        • Following the link in the original confirmation email to check order status doesn't show mine as being cancelled. I think they just sent out the mass email and will go through and cancel all of the orders on Monday.

          • @jamesorion: Mass emails aren't always sent out at once, mail servers usually stagger them to keep resources balanced and reputation high. So maybe I'm still going to get the email. If it gets cancelled I think I'll just buy that gaudy looking card branded one from JB Hifi and be done with it.

  • Order has been cancelled, price error

  • +3

I mean, it was obvious from the moment the other deal went up that everything would be cancelled. They would have received hundreds of illegitimate orders and the easiest course of action at that point is to just cancel all of the orders using the code.

    • It's like all these people are new to OzBargain.

    • +3

I only placed 500 orders for free oven mitts and tray liners using Proton email aliases, so don't blame me.

Ninja CEO: Cancel all Orders, now we got thousands of your personal details including your name, phone number, postal address ,, Thank you for giving all these info, now we are in process of selling those data to tele marketers. and also you aware about our products including our free promotion accessories which is also fake and thousand of you guys applied for free.. really do you think it is free?

    • +3

Ninja CEO: Hehehehe Generate a code that takes $30 off all orders, no minimum spend, but don't advertise it. Wait for some greedy random to play around with codes, spread the code and advertise for us unofficially for free. Hehehe

      /s

      • Ninja CEO: $50 in to 10,000 orders, bloody hell, half a million dollars will sitting on our account for couple of days…

        • -1

Not bad for something which they did not advertise.

Anyone else's order just get cancelled?

    • Ahhhhh

    • Yepppp

  • Cancelled.

  • Bought this, got cancelled and refunded. Not like I needed another 2 but would have been nice🤣🤣🤣

    • For $25 each, I bet some people are spending more than that on ordinary protein shakers. If this is the result of technological development and free trade, we should impeach Donald Trump right now for economic terrorism. Right when we invent AI he starts pulling this shit, I want a $25 blender that tracks how steady I hold it and how big I look and compliments my gains.

  • Cancelled as well

  • Cancelled.

  • Jus got the refund email :(

  • order cancelled by them 😡

  • Order cancelled, lol

Love to know how Ninja thinks a $40 discount off minimum $250 spend is a better discount than $30 off no minimum spend 🤔.
This whole saga is an incredibly bad look for their brand, especially with the Ozbargain community.

      • +1

Because it was never supposed to be no minimum spend….

  • Cancelled

  • how'd those that purchased the gift card with the code then purchase with code and gift card go? I was worried I'd be stuck with gift card and didn't do that.

  • Ditto

Fail seller, scam now has my CC details. Fraud.

  • -5

Don't be angry. For everyone that missed out, there is a battery powered one at Kmart for $15. It's even a better size in my opinion at 270ml ideal for a cup size smoothie. https://www.kmart.com.au/product/portable-usb-mini-blender-b…

  • Questionable seller. Won’t be supporting these guys again.

  • Back in stock?

  • +1

Mass Email and phone number harvesting

  • +2

I love how the cancelled email starts as "order was cancelled at your request"… No I didn't actually cancel, I want the two blenders which I'm not going to us as I want to fill my cupboard full of Oz bargains which I don't need…

    • -5

I sent this deal to an Asian friend of mine to understand why would people fomo into this deal when a perfectly good smoothie maker similarly battery powered can be bought for $15 - $30 online. He studied the deal, he then Googled similar products for a much cheaper price and then he went to his room where he pondered for 2 hours. He came out and explained to me this way.

If anyone really wanted a perfectly functional cheap battery powered smoothie maker, they would buy the Kmart one for $15 or some other brands available for around $25 which is the same price as this. So the reason why everyone fomo'd on this is because what they really wanted to buy is cheap presents that look like expensive presents when the present receiver Googles the item. In turn makes the person that gives the presents look like a baller even though they only paid $25 for it.

It does make sense, because right now you can go out and buy a $25 battery powered smoothie maker but no one here will do that. Again, here is one I found earlier: https://www.kmart.com.au/product/portable-blender-white-4349…

I'm never buying anything from this company. Very dodgy. Nutribullet from now on.

    • Username something something.

  • +1

So is two of these for $80 still a good price? They seem to go for about $70 anywhere else. And other brand name portable blenders don't seem much cheaper.

    • +2

i think it was $42 for one not long ago

    • not worth it to pay $80 if you don't really need 2

      • So better to pay $70 for one?

        • or wait for it on sale for $4x again? It has been at this price a few times over the last few months

  • +2

    Dodgy seller. Report!

  • +1

got cancelled. but i already have one of these. actually it's very high quality product. good design and solid build.

btw. all these websites uses shopify so your card info is safe.

    • +1

Would you say it’s worth $80 for two?

How long you’ve had it and how’s the battery longevity thus far?

      • +1

I have it for almost a year. battery still holds up. i think its worth for the $60 I paid for one. it's not the cheap knock-off. ninja shark is a good brand. thought I can buy another 2 one just in case the old one dies and the other one for family.

  • gg guys, got cancelled

  • All your details will soon be on the dark web. (When they get hacked).

  • The order(s) are getting cancelled. Just got the email.

  • -2

What a bunch of scumbags…there was no technical issue.

They were simply overwhelmed by the sales and didn't put a sufficient cap.

I won't be supporting Ninja (legitimately) given their business practices.

I hope they're reading these comments - businesses need to do better to retain customers.

    • +1

As King, I endorse your rebellion.

  • My order got cancelled also, very disappointing.

  • +2

    Cancelled too!

And the audacity of labelling it as cancelled at my request! Then they throw in a $40 discount code—but only if you spend $250. Seriously?
Pretty sure they lost a few hundred customers over this. Spinning it into a marketing move just made it worse, honestly.

    Nutribullet all the way !

  • Our turn to cancel these MOFOs!

  • +2

Order confirmed, then cancelled 😁 like a ninja

  • order cancelled as well

  • +3

This is not a technical error, it's just a disgusting marketing move.

  • +2

Self (apparently) "Denied" email confirmed today :( I replied asking when I actually asked for cancelation lol

  • Refunded

  • Are all these refunds because you used the "EV-A25X7"?

I assume the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Offer still stands?

    • yes

  • Refunded

  • -1

Screw Ninja. After this BS I asked to be removed from all marketing databases. This was confirmed by the "Head of somesuchBS".

Today I get marketing spam from them. Reported (for whatever good it may or may not do).

    • Are you mad because you couldn't get something for free?

      • What was ever free haha?

And I'm sure at 2 for 49 it is probably still 150%+ markup.

I have high standards for how companies should run, and data integrity is a part of that.

    • And now their other company Shark is emailing me spam, after twice being told I as removed from their databases.

      • So they're the ones that made sure I got some Shark spam FFS

  • +3

Kept getting promotional emails from ninja so I had to unsubscribed, now they're sending me promotional emails for shark ninja. Very annoying.
