350x Fexofenadine Hyrochloride 180mg & Bonus 20x Lorrex 2mg Loperamide $54.99 Delivered @ PharmacySavings

10off

Hi Ozbargainers,

Another "by request" deal, I receive so many emails asking about Fexo deals and to be honest the current deals on the Ozbargain table (listed at the bottom of most of my regular posts) are already pretty hard to beat on price, so the only way I can get prices lower (per tab) is by asking suppliers to help clear excess inventory. So tonight I have an all Fexo deal of 280x Dr Reddys Hayfexo 180mg + 70x Fexit 180mg Fexo bundled together for a total of 350x Tabs. Due to some recent pricing moves I can't keep this one under $50 - but I can bundle in a bonus to make up a $4-$5 in value for you as part of the deal.

I've still got a pallet or so of Lorrex in stock which I need to move by the end of July which has been selling pretty well on its own between $4-5 a box, so I am bundling in 20x Lorrex (Loperamide 2mg) as a bonus item with this deal tonight - if you are looking for bulk fexo with a bonus, this is your deal!

Item:
280x Dr Reddys, Hayfexo 180mg - Exp: End July 2026
70x Trust Fexit 180mg - Exp: End October 2025
+
BONUS 20x LORREX 2mg Loperamide (Expires: End July 2025)

Why does the check out page have an option to "show your support for the team at Allied Pharmacy Group Pty Ltd" and give a tip? Buying something isn't enough?!

Standard shopify option. The few folks that do tip help cover off on the items lost in post (or buyer fraud) and this keeps prices lower for everyone, its very unpopular when I say this but the fact is the people that tip keep the prices lower on the website for everyone else. So its not me but you (as clients) that should be thankful this option is in place, and raise a glass to the good people that do chip in 2c - 20c - $2 here and there, it does keep the prices lower.

I had a hunch it was a Shopify option, but both of the circumstances you describe are tax deductible as far as I am aware (stock losses & bad debts). It's a rather peculiar line of reasoning that tipping keeps things cheaper when you can write off events like parcels going AWOL.

        • I'm not looking to challenge your opinion, but I'm guessing you don't own a business. You are correct in that the loss is tax deductible, ie/ We lose $30 (ie negative $30 comes out of our account for a refund for a lost item with a $30 gross sale price) which means we then don't have to pay tax on the $30 we've refunded (as its a cost to the business), we're still down $30 cash for the refund to the client and the value of the original item (say $27 on a $30 sale), so in theory a charge back or refund of $30 for a non received item is actually more like $30+$27=$57 of cash money in total cost or loss to the business.

In the context of this example, we try to make 10% gross per sale to ensure we don't actually lose money on Ozbargain deals, so $3 per sale, but we've just lost $57 in one transaction. To offset these losses, we need high turnover (ie we need another 20x sales just to get back to breakeven) and the occasional tip.

When you do the math, its easy to see why not many small business owner reps post on Ozbargain, tiny margins coupled with highish fraudulent behaviour and a fair percentage of Karen's who want compensation when Aust Post take too long to deliver their item or they move house before the item gets delivered and think this is our problem, or they return items to sender because they change their mind, or they fail to collect from the post office, or they claim item doesn't work, yet keep 50% of them and return the other 50% smashed to pieces for a 100% refund.

Last chargeback we had was for an $86 item, the client claimed Aust Post tampered with the item prior to delivery to them, so they filed a claim against Aust Post, demanded we manually refund them and also lodged a chargeback with ANZ (which they won and we lost as ANZ refused to review our evidence and simply closed the case in the buyers favour) - So we lost: The item and the chargeback and associated fees - I nearly refunded them manually, but on this was the same day we received notice of the chargeback and of course we lost the item. So all up nearly $260 down in loss due to 1x A-hole Ozbargainer "working" the system to the max.

To your point the $260 is a tax deduction against other profit we'd hope to make, but we've lost $260 cold hard cash.

No complaining, just telling it how it is - ie/ The tips do really help keep the prices down for the majority of others.

(BTW posters can't neg so that wasn't me)
