  • Does this stack with referral and cashback?

Any actual deals to be had? Just saying 15% off is practically meaningless.

First tyre i checked, Kumho Ecowing ES31:

    @ Tyroola
    $408 (Set of 4)
    -$61.20 (15% discount)
    $66 Shipping
    $152 Fitting (minimum)
    $564.80 Total

    @ Bob Jane
    $486.40 Total (Delivered/Fitted)

So cheaper at Bob Jane by nearly $80.

    • That’s where tyroola goes down the toilet. Used to offer shipping/fitting included in price at selected fitters but since they wrapt that up the extra costs just make it unaffordable compared to other suppliers that sell/fit at their dealerships at no extra costs. Unless u are looking for super niche tyres that tyroola only stock I can’t see how they are still in business. They don’t offer anything different to brick and mortar stores even tho they are online yet they tend to cost more.

    • Hmm. I’m struggling to find many places that have Yokohama AD09s in 225 45 17.

Bob Jane’s is $359 each. Tyroola is 285 before this discount or 242.25 if 15% off. Plus shipping and fitting costs though

  • So it doesn't stack with the Kumhos buy 4 get 15%off?

Also, a very dodgy company, bought twice, 1st order the tyres were within 6 months of manufacturing, the 2nd ordwr was 2 years old. They said it's their NOS (new old stock) , however, it was the most selling tyre on their website lol never again.

    • Which brand was the tyre?

      • 1st order was Pirelli P7, now new model P7II I guess

        2nd HANKOOK VENTUS S1 EVO3 K127

I don't bother wasting my time checking prices on this site anymore. Not once has it ever been cheaper than local tyre shop when they have a sale.

    • That’s been my experience also.

  • I need a set of 4x 195 65 15. Cheapest tyres fitted in Perth for an old bomb driving 20km per week. Can't find anything cheap locally. Anyone have any ideas? Ideally $300ish

Looks like I found a decent option for a set of Pirellis as long as you take out the figment, so delivery only.
Called up a local tyre fitter who's on Tue tyroola list and he literally does it for half the price.

I got my local tyre shop to price beat Tyroola's price.

This is how we drive small businesses, out of business.

  • Thanks OP. After reading through the negatives I was a bit worried, but found most the tyres I was after had free deliver and there were a few local shops that had pretty decent fitting/balancing/alignment fees. Ended up being around $100 to $150 cheaper than getting it done at the box stores for the same tyres. Wasn't the case for all the tyres, but the ones I ended up wanting worked out well.

I’m finding the same, the tyres I was after are the Michelin E Primacy 225/60/18 Tyroola is about the cheapest I could find even before the coupon code. Free shipping probably helps, almost $400 less the bob jane

  • The fitting fee is nuts. no real deals here. Would be a deal if the fitting fee was zero.

  • Despite all the negs, i was able to get Michellin PS5s for $150 cheaper than the cheapest i got quoted from the other major shops.
