I think this is the best dive style/beater watch around this price.

    Das cheap

    • Isn't normal price for a quartz watch? Tempted to get one for the band.. how does it compare?

      • Well for one… this is a dive watch, and in a well known silhouette ..which model were you comparing it to?

        • Good to know it's well made and valued here. I was just comparing the price based on an automatic.

          • @zxcvb: Automatic movements are generally more expensive than quartz movements. But the band that you mentioned is called "link" because they are linked together and usually made from stainless steel (this watch) or titanium (more expensive). Rubber band atau leather has different material and they are not called link.

This watch has 316L stainless steel which is good quality. If you only want the link, just buy the link.

      • The "bands" are pretty good for the price. The one pictured is called an Oyster Bracelet. The case is a Homage of a Rolex Submariner. Metal/Ceramic bands are called Bracelets and any other material is usually just called a strap.
I have the automatic version in the same case but the Starbucks Colour (black dial with green bezel. The auto movement is a Seiko unit and they are also Sapphire crystal instead of mineral glass. But the auto are more expensive, depending on the day $130+ AUD but sometimes some colours are discounted.

If you buy direct from Addiesdive or AliExpress you can also get them "clean skin" meaning the dial has no Addiesdive logo on it under the 12 hour.

There are also other Homages from Omega, Hamilton, Seiko and other Rolex models.

    This or Fifty Fathoms?

Personal taste. I have a milsub homage, but cannot stand the look of submariners. The most homaged/knocked-off watch out there

  • +1

    That's good price.

Thanks OP, got 2x Blue faced one for both my dads birthday gifts (dad and step-dad, not what you were all thinking).

I bought the green faced Addiesdive 40mm like 2yrs ago and it has been exceptional value for money, and I paid triple this price. A great daily beater so I could retire my Tag for more special/ sentimental occasions. Ironically, I get more comments on the Addiesdive than any other watch I own.

(dad and step-dad, not what you were all thinking).

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    • agree, the only watch ive ever gotten asked about and complimented is a Pagani

I have this watch in blue and green colour already :)

Most average people are not watch collectors, only know certain well-known brands and don't have good knowledge about watch spec and quality. When they see this kind of watch not from very close distance, they don't think if it's cheap, but good looking watch. Walked pass a property agent/broker, got a sales offer :P

I have some other watches from different brands too (include solar powered watch).

Waiting to watch a review from Jody (Just One More Watch YouTube channel) as he just bought this watch even though he know about this watch for years already ;-)

      jody

I give it about 7 working days till he lists it on up on aawf

      • Great lume though from this watch … He also has SD1970 too.

  • Awesome, thanks

Always wanted an Addies in the collection (20+ now), this'll do just lovely, even though I reckon Cyclops' are gross

    • +1

I want the steeldive submariner but only because I already got sd1970

    • I believe you can remove the cyclops with careful use of a cigarette lighter. I agree they distract from the face.

Fantastic first watch for my collection which is now my beater. Have replaced it with the AD2059 which I got for $85 from the last cashback deal, but got many compliments for this Subby homage

Impress your friends from 200m underwater!

  • New to AliExpress watches, would this be a good decent one? How do these compare to real ones like a Seiko?

  • It keeps trying to convert to AUD even tho I have USD in my settings?

  • +1

I wasn't even in the market for a new watch. Purchased the blue. Thanks OP.

Bought it! Thanks WN, been looking at Ali watches for years and never pulled the trigger. For $47 can’t go wrong really

I have this with an orange band. Great swimming watch, just be careful to screw the crown down securely.
I use mine for snorkeling to keep an eye on street parking time

Any deals on Rolex instead of this trash?

    • +8

Only poor people look for deals on Role. Real Rolex owners pay full price or more

    • +2

If you know about Rolex you will know rrp is the deal

      • +1

Yes and wait years to get one

  • +1

Got the greenback. With coupon, paid US$29.19 / AU$46.06 via Rev. Thanks all.

  • +1

Thanks @WatchNerd. Got one in black steel for $46.86

eek, quartz. pass for me. just a personal preference.
once i upgraded my watch to an auto with a sweeping second hand, i just can't go back to quartz again. would love anything with a sweeping second hand quartz or auto.

  • Excellent price for a very decent watch ..a genuine Miyota and while 200m is debatable it is perfectly safe to swim/snorkel in and listed at double the price on their website ..its a pity they do not use Seiko movements for their quartz watches but a gen Miyota is just as good

  • Never had any watches before but brought one anyway 🤷‍♂️

    • very good entry point, it won't be your last

  • Is this too large for a 12-year old? Thinking of a gift for friends daughter

    • +1

That's a difficult one because large watches on women are the fashion now. But I think a 12 year old girl would have really small wrists.

    • +1

personally I think Casios are great for kids, check Amazon

    • 41mm diameter case and 163g on bracelet so I would imagine too big and too heavy.

  • I am interested in this deal but it is saying it can't ship to me in Sydney NSW?

    Any ideas?

      • +1

I'm getting the same on blue and black. Only green is available now. It usually means only local warehouse stock like EU is left on those colours or they've cut off shipping to Australia so they don't sell out too quickly.

  • +1

    Cheap folex

  • Is 16% Topcashback valid for this if we use the coupon code?

  • There’s stock again ! If anyone who missed out

so many latitude shills on this site. it must be the enterprise of a bunch of people on this site or something. such a no-name financial institution and by no means the only one with a no international fee cars. plus a 25% purchase interest rate. how any bargain hunter could ever recommend it is totally suss. oh and remember when every second deal had latitude in its title? smh

  • @WatchNerd thanks for the post, got one.

I am looking for something in gold, anything on Ali you recommend? I found the Pagani DD40 which looks cool, but still wouldn't mind something a bit more over the top..

  • +2

Received mine today and I’m super impressed. It’s beautiful irl and has a nice weight to it. And for $46 is ridiculous.
Keen to get a few more and build a small collection now. Any others to look at other than the Paganis above?
Especially keen on a blue dial with a shape like the Vacheron Overseas, Zenith Defy Classic, Tissot PRX that looks good in both bracelet and strap.

  • +3

Got mine too, nice watch, nice proportions (obviously due to its inspiration). Heavy and solid, bezel lines up perfectly and has a nice rotation click. Screw down crown and time adjustment seem to work well. Had to take a scorch brite style cleaning pad to the bracelet and case. Far too shiny for my liking
