Yummy and I think better, and tastier than the other, red one.

Agree, this black one is much better with deep, richer broth. The regular red one is simply spicier but less flavour.

Extremely good pimping base too, maybe the best.
Favourite now is white mushroom fried with minced garlic 👌

      • what one is this?

  • Always sold out when I get there

Coles do rainchecks, unlike Woolies. Go to the service counter and let them know how many you would like (up to six) and they will give you a coupon which you need to redeem within one month. I occasionally go to another store or two and get more and stock up.

    • Someone was bound to either make this comment or “always bet on black”

    • Not furyou

they are spicy, less spicy but still spicy, I say only use half packet of the red base soup packet. it won't be as spicy. keep finding the right amount for you. I didn't pour all of it in only a bit was left though and it was still spicy, but I loved it.

    • I use half a pack of the red base (as seems to be common) but the other change I make to reduce the apparent spice is to add a spoonful of peanut butter to the base as well. Gives it a sweet/salty satay-like flavour.

      • add peanut butter in shin ramyun??!

I seen some add a slice of cheese while cooking. Thickens the soup and dulls down the spiciness a bit.

  • i just got two, these are amazing.

    • Then you simple have to have mhoar!!!!
