Great price on the long sleeve AIRism, that's on par with rrp in Japan.

  • Whats UNIQLO sizing. Do i need to go up one?

    • Fair question. I like it true to size, some people like things a bit looser. Best to try in store first if you can

If you go on the product page, they have a “check my size” button with a bunch of info on it

    • I size up 1 and it fits nicely. I like it a little looser though (not oversized/baggy). Best to try one on in-store or just YOLO it and size up.

    • I bought a few AIRism Long Sleeve t-shirts when I was in Japan last June and thought to buy some here too. I had to go one size down, and the sleeves are longer than the bigger size. Kinda weird.

      • to buy some here too. I had to go one size down

Yes, asian size is one size down, not the same here.

        • Yeah, that's right. Since it's one size down, I thought the sleeves of the smaller size would at least be similar to the bigger Asian size, but they're a lot longer. The chest and waist of the two sizes are similar, but they forgot to adjust the sleeve length. Even two of the same AU size have different sleeve lengths.

@AussieDaddy: Yeah, I bought M AIRism short sleeve from Japan and bought S from here, seem the sleeve a bit shorter.

      • Same with me. I had to go one size down. I got a few more and they are perfect to wear in winter to work and shopping. I pair them with Uniqlo Airism trousers

Polyester and Recycled plastic. No thanks.

      • Have you actually tried it? They use some polyester for a reason.

It is so good and comfort especially high humidity

Uniqlo has gone downhill a bit recently, the website is atrocious and the selection is poor

    • +4

Material quality is lower, fits are too boxy or uncomfortable, and prices too high. Nothing like what they used to be.

So is it better to go to Kmart for shirts then

      P.I.T.A website +1

    • You only get what you pay for!

    • Agree - I can’t believe how poor of quality allot of their stuff is now. Really disappointed .

no doubt getting some sort of radiation dose from the RFID self-checkout system too

    • Are their jeans effected by this quality drop? I've been buying them for years, $60 fitting included.

Is the “Uniqlo U 100% Cotton” the real thick one?

Also have people noticed Uniqlo sizing is a bit all over the shop with the same cut and size? I grabbed some in different colours thinking they would be the same but some are a little bigger, better actually try them all on instore next time.

    • Yes Uniqlo U is the thick one. I found it to be super warm.

    • Yeah I found this. They don’t indicate how “loose” of a fit something is. In use to buy online but it’s now a try on store for me

    • try this for different t-shirt types -> https://www.instagram.com/uniqlo/p/Ce-x8ncPAnA/?img_index=1

No, I understand there are different cuts. But as I said this is the SAME cut and SAME size and they are not the same size. I have 2 large Supima I bought at the same time in different colours and they fit much different

        • ah ok, I haven't bought a Supima in a while, but Uniqlo U has been pretty consistent.

    • I had the same experience. I got some cheap tshirts. The blue one turned out to be tight for the same size.

  • I got a blue long-sleeve AIRism for $14.90 on Monday at Eastland (vic), they had a bunch on sale.

  • Anyone own the Dry Ex-Ultra stretch shorts? Frustratingly they don’t have the length (5”/7”/9”/etc.) listed anywhere online :/

Bit surprised people saying they’re low quality now. My new uniqlo shirts and pants still hold up better than big brands.
