Not sure when the deal expires, I would imagine next Tuesday given it appears to be a price-match of Coles - $29 for half the size.

Why is size 4 girls never on sale?! Boo

    • +1

I noticed this too, so annoying haha

    • it was $48 from Costco last week for a 148 pack. and extra 20% off if you order from doordash with 20% off gift card from Costco

      • exactly what we did

      • it was $48 from Costco last week for a 148 pack

It was also the only size not in stock when we went instore on the weekend. Even OOS on their online website so it must have been an issue nationwide? Had to wait a couple of days before it was restocked and ate the $2 delivery difference as the store is too far of a drive for us to go every week.

        • size 4? I ordered girls size 4 via DoorDash without any issue.

          • @RichardF89: Didn't try doordash, was simply the case in-store and on their website. This was nearly 2 weekends ago when the sale was on.

    • Had same issue for us. But when good sale on we got some size up for later on. They grow too quick.

    • Aside from the colour and the marketing, is there any difference between the boys vs girls nappies size 4?

      • Absorbent placement. Boys higher front, girls all around.

        That's said, I've never verified

        • Yeah it's literally promoted front and (slightly off-) centre on the packaging, hard to miss lol.

    • Not quite the same deal, but amazon has it for $66 now, or $59.40 for subscribe and save.

  • Just bought a box of 108 for my newborn due in June, wondering if buying this box of 216 in the same size 1 would be overkill?

    • +2

In total, we used two boxes of the 108 (plus a few leftovers from others) in the newborn size before going to size 2. The nappies weren't necessarily too small at that point, we just finished what we had. Depends on how fast your baby grows, but I feel like you might manage to use them all - others' experience might vary!

      • Thanks for your feedback, I guess if we are between our place and our parents we might end up going through more than if it were just from home, allows for a few learning throw aways 🤣

    • Depends on your kid's birth weight and nappy frequency changes (typical is 10-12 a day) so that's already a 20% variance.

Size 1 is up to 5kg
      Size 2 is 4-8kg

I would go 1 box of size 1 and get a box or 2 of size 2 if you have the space in garage.

Once your baby is born, you can gauge better with baby weight percentile and check against growth chart (in purple book) and decide if you need more size 1.

A slightly more expensive nappy is cheaper than unused.

I have 2 kids and never had leftover nappies

      • Thanks for this insight, when you say ‘a box’ sorry for asking a silly q, are you referring to the 216 box?

        • +1

Sorry, a box refers to a month's supply like the ones posted here.

As the kid gets bigger, their daily changes reduces too. A size 2 will have less nappies than size 1 for a month supply but should roughly equate to reduced nappy change. Hope that helps

          • @azngamer: Thanks so much it helps a lot, maybe I’ll grab another 108 box of size 1 to make it to 216.

          • @azngamer:

            reduced nappy change

Even more so once/if you end up sending them to childcare etc.

  • +1

    Any deals on nappy pants?

  • They're also $29/box ($0.40 ea) for the normal size box on sale this week at Coles. If you pay for the extra 10% off deal, that's an additional $2.90 savings as well, which takes it close to the $0.36ea cost for the Amazon deal.

    • and stack 4% off gift card

  • about $49 for this month at costco (all sizes i think)

    • I was there yesterday, it was $59.

      • Yeah already ended like over a week ago.
