        Did you report them? Because they clearly do not do audio-out with audio docks. Charging with the docks, yes; audio, no.

        With all Lightning Adapters they support all Audio, but not video. Including Apple's original ones.
        Excerpt from apple ebsite: "This adapter lets you connect devices with a Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.* Supports analog audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported."

  Has anyone had issues with these non genuine lightning cable/adapters? If you do a google search there is a lot of people have issues getting it to work. As some work some dont I assuming from dodgy batches.

  I purchased a couple.. two adapters didnt work and one lightning didnt work.

    i have one
    bought from ebay for 3m lighting cable and it didnt work properly
    charge slower
    and itunes got crashed
    and when you want to plug it to ur iphone it seems the connector not really fit

      People say that Apple have encrypted their USB so it works with the Iphone only. So when they do patches the usb/adapter wont work anymore. Apple are such a—holes.

  Got my adapter today. When i plugged into my logitech dock, it charged the iphone 5 but no sound was heard from the logitech speakers. Sounds only heard from the iphone speaker at the bottom.
  When i tried to remove the adopter from my iphone, the top part (the protruding bit)just broke off!! WTH!
  Very disappointed with purchase. I hope the rep will responsibly refund my money.

    My adapter also didn't work for audio when used with two different ipod/iphone docks. Had the same problem where sound was only heard from the iphone speaker.

    However, the vendor was very professional and quickly refunded the purchase price when I reported the problem.

    Similar experience for me; although for $9 I didn't expect audio to work. The Apple adapters have digital-analog converters in them. I assume these don't.

    They also seem to be cheaply made. I've only used mine twice and already the lightning "prong" is starting to detach from the plastic housing.

    Data sync and charging appear to be fine. If these were slightly better made (so the prong didn't detach), and advertised honestly ("Charge/sync adapter (no audio or video)") then $9 is a very fair price to turn your existing 30-pin cables into usually-$25 USB->lightning cables.

  Ordered mine last week from the previous deal with the free screen prtector for iPhone5. It arrived yesterday (to Sydney) and is the wrong plug. The sticker on the packaging says it is the lightning connector cable but when I opened it up it contained the old 30 pin type connector cable.
  Have left an enquiry on the Carbon Cables website (from the info contact section next to the product details) and now waiting for a response.
  Whats going on Rep? How do I get my correct cable?
