GamersGate: Screwup in progress, read if you got a refund (discount doubling until fixed)

Trying to get this done fast, please excuse typos.

If anyone got a refund for the Bethesda pack or Borderlands 2 four-pack, you now (probably) have a 20% attached to your account that will work for the entire year.

There's an info post on their website that says you can't buy blue coins (an internal loyalty currency you can also buy directly) at 20% off. But you can.

And you can then turn around and use those coins immediately to buy a game at 20% off.

You probably have less than a day before they fix this. Make sure you see something like this before you purchase:

    The image shows -200 BLC… so while you get a 20% discount, are you getting 20% less BLC?

      No, BLC is also something you can pay with, so the 1000, -200, 800 column is talking about paying with BLC, not ordering BLC. (You can't pay for BLC with BLC, as far as I know. It's just confusing.)

          Yea i got it, work with other items like separate games but not with the blue coins :(

          Fair enough. Maybe they've fixed that already. I couldn't test it because I got all the codes out of my Bethesda pack and completely missed the BL2 4-pack.

    i got borderlands 2 for free i gifted the game to another email account to see if it worked
    they refunded me took the game back

    i registered with the other email redeemed the gift and i got a key
