My Blue Yeti Pro broke, and looking for a replacement and something to plug my headphones (Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80omhs) and the new microphone into preferably. Not very experienced on DAC's or any types of audio units so will need a lot of guidance here.
My mobo audio port seems to be cooked so my headphones are currently in a subwoofer of an old logitech.
Thanks!
You are definitely doing the right thing by getting an audio interface and mic. Headsets and gaming mics are good but especially if you already have wired headphones I think it's worth it to get an interface. I'm not 100% sure what to recommend but I know the focusrite and motu products are well known budget ones and rme being the absolute top tier if you want a very well made product but I think for you the motu and focusrite would be plenty for what you need.
