Items (physical or digital) to purchase for 1c or 2c ea

I'm after really cheap digital or physical items or digital donations/tip jars that are worth 1c or 2c each. I need to do many hundreds of transactions on my credit card (special promo with 100 points per transaction).

Anyone got any ideas? Must be charged in AUD, not USD :)

Mod Update:
I've been following this story on the Australian Frequent Flyer forums as well as Twitter.

decryption managed to rack up almost 1 million points at which time NAB caught wind and sent him this letter withdrawing the offer. Apparently , using a Firefox plugin called iMacro he was able to pay Citilink in 1 cent transactions (7,000).

74 page credit card bill.

  • All I can think of are digital prints, but even they are 8 cents minimum. Goodluck in finding anything for sale that cheap lol

    • Nice idea, but they won't accept a 1c or 2c donation (I tried already, heh)

  • If it were 1 or 2 items, maybe but 100s?

Paypal charge $.30 per transaction so you could donate to yourself or whoever.

Second option, could be to buy gift cards to somewhere you shop in small denominations. E.G. Woolworth then use them as normal. If you use the RACV, RACQ, Entertainment book you can get 5% off as well.

You may be able to part pay bills in small denominations. For example, my water and electricity provider allow me to pay by credit in any amount I want. Not sure if there is a minimum, but you may be able to pay off bills in small transactions.

    What's the credit card?

I think it is "NAB Gold 100 QFF points per transaction bonus offer "

That's great. Well if we see someone at the supermarket paying for everything individually, guess we'll know what they are up to. Actually, if you slip the deli guy at Woolworths/Coles some money (or not and annoy them) maybe they will portion $.02 of meat in separate bags. Surely a thin slice of Devon or some other cheap meat should suffice?

  • This one may work

    Got the idea from here

    https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/How-to-use-PayPal-Archiv…

    non-profit, animal rescue group

However, the user who made the thread thinks the 1cent donations are suspicious

By doing that, Australian Animal Rescue will lose $.30 for each donation. Probably not a good idea to rack up huge fees for a charity.

      • Yeah, charities or not-for-profits doing good work, I don't want to rip off. If they're some evil climate change denying, anti-gay, anti-vaccination group though…

      • Yeah, you're right.

Probably best to do what you said above and buy Woolies or ColesMyer Gift cards in low denominations

    Try this eBay search

  • Tmart special. Wait for leftdrop to do us a deal

  • I like the free postage 1 cent search on ebay. At least you get something in return for your 1 cent that you can sell onwards again :D

Well I hope the OP gets to keep all the FF points. Awesome job.

P.S. Read this other thread about a guy who stocked up on taco seasoning to accrue loads of Woolworths bonus points.

    • LOL! Take that bank!

I just want to see the bank actually send a physical copy of that bill… AusPost would probably classify it as a parcel! Lol
