My tips:

  • Please choose a country with no GST e.g. Christmas Island. If you can, pay with a card without international transaction fees. PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. These fees are not eligible for cashback.
  • 100% cashback only applies to the basic plan ie Surfshark Starter. Best value is 24 months (+ 3 months extra) A$86.13 (estimate). Surfshark charges in USD.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with Surfshark VPN, please cancel and request for a refund from Surfshark VPN within 30 days under their 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal after you have received cashback.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only for new Surfshark customers opening a new Surfshark account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Surfshark VPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.

Good to know

    By far the worst VPN I have ever used. Constantly got banned from websites and couldn't shop online as everything would go into Singapore dollars.

    They also refused to give my money back after I pointed out their product was horrendous and unusable.

      Works perfectly for me. It's basically NordVPN, they seem to share the same servers as well.

      I’ve recently subscribed to Surfshark and yet to have any issues so far. Can you give me a few examples? I’ll be curious to test it out in my end too

        I had to do captchas for almost every website and was doing like 30+ a day.
        Then Amazon would ban me for being 'suspicious traffic'. Most major websites were hard/slow to reach.

        It constantly thought I was in singapore even though I set it to Australian servers. So everything listed with a price was SGD.

        I have a Plex server and I couldn't get it to bypass it, so I couldn't reach it remotely anymore.

        I then explained this to their customer service. Unfortunately because I didn't use it immediately and only discovered it sucked after a month, they refused to refund my 2ish year plan as it was beyond their period of refund (28 days?) So I still have an active account with them but went back and purchased NordVPN again as it's much better.

          I had this issue, if you have torrents running and start the VPN it redirects to an IP that comes up as Singapore. No matter what Australian server I selected it was always coming up with the same IP. I tried other countries and it didn’t do it. Shut down torrent client and it all worked as it should. So it has some kind of P2P redirection going on. Couldn’t see an option in the app to turn it off.

    Wouldn't risk it, TCB banned my account for supposedly having "multiple accounts" because a household member also uses it. So they have lost out $170 on a PureVPN subscription and they don't even know what a VPN is lol. No evidence and can't even log in to reply to ticket
