[VIC] Free Multi-Level Car Parking for Crown Rewards Members (All Tiers) Monday-Thursday @ Crown Melbourne

670

Received an email from Crown Melbourne that they are offering Member Tier (Entry Tier) Rewards Members free parking in it's multi-level car park every Monday to Thursday until June 30.

Decent savings can be had, especially when combining it with trams within the free tram zone if you park in the CBD on a regular basis. Normally, the rates are 0-5 hours for $10, 5-7 hours for $15 and 7-24 hours for $25.

Only downside is you need to sign up in person at a Crown Rewards Desk to obtain a member card to access this free parking offer. There is no requirement to gamble or visit any retail/food outlets. Simply being a member is sufficient.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Crown Rewards terms and conditions apply.
  • Offer is available from 12am Monday to 11:59pm Thursday during the promotional period.
  • Members must exit within a 24-hour period of entering the car park.
  • Open to Member Tier Crown Rewards Members.
  • Available at the multi-level car park.
  • Parking at Crown under this offer is subject to car park Terms and Conditions (which are displayed at Crown car park entrances) and to the availability of car park spaces.
  • Not available for valet parking.

Just noting that Crown is not inside the free tram zone (and boy do the inspectors love that stop).

You will need to walk a block or so to get to Crown from the nearest free stop.

    • Yeah I probably should have added that to the main post but yeah a 5-10 minute walk across the river to access the nearest free zone stops.

Forget blackjack, the biggest gamble isn’t at the tables, it’s whether your Camry’s still there when you come back.

I wish someone stole my old car.. then finally upgrade after insurance payout

        • I wish someone stole my old car..

As for 'Julio' at the Baccarat table…

        • Many years ago we were parked diagonally across from Russel St Police station and someone stole our Camira. We walked the block to see if they got in, realised it was a shit heap, and jumped out again. Nope. Never saw it again and got a payment much higher than trade in value. We thought it was hysterical.

Figure it ended up as spare parts trying to keep other Camiras on the road.

      • No one's stealing a Camry.

        • Surprisingly it's one of the most stolen cars in Victoria after the Holden Commodore.

@JIMB0: Is that only because theres a lot more camrys?

            • @ATangk: could be but Toyota doesn't sell many camry these days. I guess the main reason is the security flaw on some of the Toyota models. They are very easy to steal.

I am surprised RAV4 isn't on the list.

            • @ATangk: The thieves love them just as much as ozbargainers, reliable, discreet, and guaranteed to start, even when it’s not your key.

              • @JIMB0: Better than the Kia Challenge

                • @ATangk: Just about all cars can be stolen now by busting the lock and plugging a cheap device from the likes of Temu into the OBD port.

        • Why not? Ppl aren’t stealing cars to keep for themselves long term. They are stealing to commit another crime, or break it up for parts. And they are way easier to find and steal than a luxury car. You seem to be thinking there are garages of stolen luxury cars that thieves use for their weekend away

    Free stolen car included?

    • Are you planning to get a new car?

  • They have very low patronage since post-covid and the inquiry last year where they nearly lost their licence.

    • Are you sure? Every time ive been there its always crowded.

      • You think they would be offering this if it was packed?

Im a Platinum member and even the mahogany room is significantly quieter during peak periods over the last few years.

I would appreciate a designated car/kids creche area where you could leave your car&kids instead of dropping them off somewhere and then parking… It would be a 2-in-1 service.

      Man this comment is dark.

    • untapped potential in the market

    • No joke, saw some kids left in a car in their car park not long ago and had to notify the car park security. Humans are rubbish.

I walked into the casino with $20 and a dream… walked out with nothing but a bag of nachos and an empty parking spot! My car’s gone, Jerry! Stolen! Right outta the discount zone! That’s not a parking lot—it’s a shopping center for car thieves!

  • How do you become a casino reward member now? Thought sign ups are closed.

Have to attend one of the crown rewards desks in person and sign up on the spot. If you park there and sign up on the same day you also get free parking.

  • Thought you need to spend $50 in order to get free parking? Free parking applies to weekends as well.

Yes and no (sort of), since last year they changed earning on dining to only 2 points per dollar, so now you need to spend around $125 to qualify free parking as a member, but I think some retail and gambling point earning has not changed.

  • Silver members have free basement parking for a limited time
