can you get cash back when using price beat ? T & C's are a bit wishy washy. They also advertise "unlock an extra 2.5% saving" by using discount gift cards but using a gift card excludes you from cash back in the T & C's. Dodgy as !

Yes, at least with ShopBack. I haven't tried through any other cashback sites so can't speak for those.
The way it works is the "Purchase Amount" for the transaction in your ShopBack account will first show up as the ticket price excluding GST ($995.45 in this case) and later gets adjusted to remove the price beat discount amount.
ShopBack:
You should expect the cashback amount to track $49.77 and later get adjusted to $37.95ShopBack Plus:
You should expect the cashback amount track as $59.73 and later get adjusted to $45.55
Would love to know any definitive answers on cashback and price beat as well before pulling the trigger on anything

Bought one of these TCL, the frame is not straight, with a clear bent. None the seller (HN) nor the manufacturer took this as a reason to return/replace the TV.
File a claim with ACL if there is a genuine problem which you can check using a laser
