This is why fringe left characters stink so bad, boycotting shower gels 🤣

        • +6

I'm just wondering how long until Products aimed at "men" and "women" get cancelled… We Gunna have "body type 1 shower gel" soon.

        • Fringe? It's sad to know that such privileged folk like you see people who are anti nazi / anti apartheid as "fringe". I would hope that you are "fringe", but maybe you're not. If people wonder how the first nazi movement was tolerated by "normal folk", you will be able to explain it to them

      wish i could boycott IBS

Thanks will avoid from now on.

What is the BDS boycott list? Never heard of it

    • -3

Australia is supplying Israel with weapon components lol. You really think people here care about this list? Aussies view that whole area as filled with terrorists

      • +7

Speak for yourself, I'm not into blowing thousands of kids up for profit

        • Well the people in charge, representing you have spoken for and made the decision for you to resupply Israel. The US and Israel maintains that any kids killed are a result of muslim / arab terrorists using them in the thousands as human shields. The only muslims in the world that aren't terrorists are the ones in Xinjiang, China where their human rights needs to be protected by the west at all times.

Just judging by the votes, 1/3 of people are interested

That's a scary thought, isn't it. I used to wonder how hitler was allowed to come to power, and then for the atrocities to continue. Now we're seeing the same thing in our time; and the greatest of ironies, by the people whose ancestors were the victims of those atrocities. They are clearly a different people now, who have evolved into something evil and greedy. That's a generalisation, of course, but the majority rule. Netanyahu, as Hitler did, has great support.

          • @poohduck: He's truly the Hitler of our time, but the indifference from many areas is palpable. It should be made clear it's mainly anglo western countries who are indifferent or supporting them, most of the world has been against them e.g. at the UN for decades. Goes to how how much the government and media in western countries can skew the narrative

      • +4

Yeah no. I just saw a little girl being blown in half. Definitely not into supporting Zionist genocide

    • +5

      Thanks. Stopped buying

      • +5

        Same.
I’ve made heaps of changes and it’s all been for the better.
I stand in the right side of humanity and wouldn’t wish what the poor Palestinians are going through on our worst enemy.

Anyone who does is an evil bigot and even they don’t deserve even a fraction of what they support.

        • -2

Yeah, I'm sure your trivial purchase choices are making a huge difference on the other side of the world..

The BDS boycott list has brands like google and Amazon on it… How are people meant to boycott these?

      • +2

Some are easier and some are harder. Like any movement, do what you can. Instead of paying for an Amazon account, maybe share one with a friend. Only get their free books, and if you can't find it at the library you could always buy it on Kobo or elsewhere. If you are paying Google One subs, maybe get a free one by following the posts on here, or if paying YouTube music, there's heaps of options, or get it from India or somewhere for 90% less. The more I think about it it just parallels with being a good ozbargainer

BDS like any movement is about doing what you can. If everyone did, you would see the results very quickly and we probably wouldnt have to have the conversation.

      Thanks boss, purchased!

Any good aluminum free more natural deodorants for men, would anyone recommend off Amazon?

    • Haven't found any yet on Amazon and they are not cheap.

I know some men are happy with the gender-neutral Ego QV Naked Deodorant Roll On 80g which can be purchased from Chemist Warehouse for $8.49 (or any pharmacy). QV Naked roll on or spray is aluminium free and fragrance free. Unfortunately it is not sold by Amazon.

      • Cheers many thanks!

I don't want to shit on this post, I'm sure it's all good products. But I went back to bar soap, how simple is soap just buy a bar and rub it everywhere and thats it.

    • Agree. Also much more economical also. I think best value for body wash is the ALDI 1L ones which are now $4.99 each but even then I don't believe they come close to outlasting a few bars of soap.

      • +3

Nothing better than seeing a bar of soap with your short and curlys embedded

    • the ingredients are nothing special at all. just get a supermarket brand of body wash. and l'oreal products are so pungently frangranced you'll want to avoid.

      • +1

so pungently frangranced you'll want to avoid.

yeah nah. disagree. Bought a few from this awesome deal. The fragrance is one league better than standard supermarket Palmolive, Dettol fare - sea minerals, orange/lemon etc. Its actually pleasant, creative and there's nothing excessive about it.

Do you seriously believe what you're writing? You reckon any females in the household that has to share that bathroom with you should also share the soap bar? Like living in the 60's?

And 90% of these soap bars are white. Even if you have 3 or 4 individuals bar, it gets hard to know which one is belongs to whom. Shower gels like this are the best in avoiding hygiene issues

      • +2

Bro just take out the soap when you are finished and keep it in your pocket? Simples.

        • +2

Pocket soap! Nothing like it lol.

Anyone complaining about hair on the soap… who is that inconsiderate they don't check before they finish up. When we were kids for every hair left on the soap, we would get a finger cut off. It teaches you manners and also makes you ambidextrous lol.

          • @Water Bearer: Nothing feels better in the hands than a pubes bar.

      • Soap has been scientifically shown to be hygenic, even when shared. This is because once something lands on soap, it's highly unlikely to detach from soap and come back onto you. Just use your own soap and not someone elses soap left in the shared shower at the Redfern PCYC

      • +1

We've used soap bars for thousands of years, soap is considered more hygienic than loofas.

    • Reminds me of growing up and there was the one bar of soup to share. Every time I'd think "who's pube is that?"

    • Exactly. Soap has no plastic container, is smaller and lasts ages, is way cheaper, doesn't even leak or break, doesn't cost as much resources to cart around, and it's not detergent like most liquid soaps so arguably better for your skin. Why wouldn't you choose that over shower gel?
