I recently got a new SIM card with Kogan network. I'm unsure what exactly is causing the issue but I have the same phone and I was with the same network previously to purchasing the new SIM card and didn't have this issue. Whoever I'm talking to on the phone, always at 16 minutes, the phone cuts out. The main person I talk to is on a land line but this also happens when calling other numbers. Does anyone else experience this and know how to fix it?
Mobile Phone Network Issue - 16 Minutes Always

Comments
Thanks. I've just done this - hopefully it resolves the issue.
It didn't resolve the issue - still 16 minute phone calls is all I get until it cuts out.
I googled 'Whoever I'm talking to on the phone, always at 16 minutes, the phone cuts out' and quite a few fixes came up…check them out
why the negs??
Are you 100% using the Phone Network or are you using WiFi?
It's happening across both - when out and using the phone network and then today on my wifi.
I'm guessing it's your phone then.
Very weird that it happens on both when they are different connections. Yes, it goes back to the network in another way, but still very odd. Try another phone as per MS Paint.
My Boost starts distorting somewhen before 20 minutes are up. Ring back and ok again for similar time. After a huge fight with Ombudsman which included dozens of abusive calls from the Telstra Call centre in the Pphilipines telling me I had no, absolutely NO consumer right. Eventually got $200 compensation but not until I had 80 emails and nearly 6 months of only less than 5% internet speed. Also overseas roaming never worked.
Now Boost calls it a: DE - Prioritised service.
Sort of a "Gerry" disaster!
Have you performed a 'reset network settings' on the device?
