        Navigate to help for a trip in the app. Choose the "change payment method" option. Swap to your discounted gift card balance and get your original payment method refunded.

            @Snakey Chook: So you can use your gift card balance even if you've already paid with your credit card previously. I.e. retroactively apply your gift card balance.

            @Snakey Chook: You've now got ahold of 10% off gift cards that you didn't previously have access to. Retrospectively apply the discount and get your OG, full price payment method refunded.

      I had this issue with my ING card, because the app isn't handling the SMS verification process properly. Worked fine with Amex (and no credit card surcharge).

      I marked this deal as expired last night, because it looks like the deal has ended early. The discount is supposed to be applied on the payment screen, so if there is no discount on the payment screen (and if this unfortunate person paid full price), it means the offer has been pulled early.

      Keep in mind it says in the deal terms:

      Promotion runs from 00:01 AEST 29/04/25 to 23:59 AEST 02/05/25 or while stocks last.

      It looks like the allocation of discounted Uber & Uber Eats gift cards was exhausted late yesterday.
