Costco i think i bought 4 for around 30. Or may be 3 for 30
Costco is generally 20-30% off RRP, so anything 40% or over probably cheaper than Costco unless if it's on special at Costco.
SLS no deal for me ☹️
These seems to be quite expensive. are they really worth it?
100%.
in what ways? i have used them for like a few months and don't feel any difference from the other $3 ones?

Not medical advice, etc.
Did you ever have sensitive teeth or gum issues? The price difference is likely from stannous fluoride, which is the old school fluoride and has known antimicrobial properties and cuts down sensitivity. Then the rest of the blend is filled with cheap sodium fluoride to bring it up to around 1500ppm (the highest you can get OTC). A modern blend would replace stannous with Novamin.
If you just need a toothpaste and none of that matters then the cheapest option is a regular tube of nothing but sodium fluoride.
Downside of this tube is it contains SLS, which is the opposite of what Sensodyne toothpaste was originally known for. SLS can trigger mouth ulcers/canker sores to some people (including me) and make orange juice taste bad.
If you are going to Sensodyne, better off choosing one which contains Novamin imho
Go natural. If you have sensitive teeth, you are grinding your teeth during sleep. Look at the cause.
Costco seems cheaper
