We have just "inherited" as small young-ish black cat (not micro chipped). We have birds in the house so can't keep her. Very sweet cat. Would prefer to get rid of the wife's birds and keep the cat, but alas…. Located in Adelaide if anyone is interested.

Typically, as long as the first ingredient is a meat product, it's good. And I'm pretty sure Purina One has meat as it's first ingredient.
Release the birds, they live free and happy, keep the cat - everyone happy haha
I know (hope?) this I a joke but releasing domestic birds is cruel. They’ll almost surely die.
The birds (parrots) are released…and free to fly about the house as they please.

yes, many years ago our vet said "just give then Purina One only", so that's all we feed our cats. No health issues.

I have a cat and 2 budgies, the budgies are almost cage-free, but absolutely no issue, cat only like to watch and chase the birds, but never hurt them, even when nobody home.
This is not grain free, cats cant process grains.
Cheapest good quality grain free dry food I found is Costco Natures Domain (orange bag)

Supplement it with some other brands for flavour variations for your cats (like Orijen, Ziwi Peak etc).
Aoid! Even the Costco cat food is way better than this.
