Thoughts and Feedback on Roborock Q5 Pro+ Robot Vacuum for $549

Upstairs, I just need a vacuum that vacuums, moping not required. Automated dock would be great but happy to look at alternatives if they're significantly better.

We already have a Roborock downstairs that vacuums and mops, works a treat. Ideally I would like to stay in the Roborock ecosystem.

I have found the following deal on Amazon and similar price on Kogan: https://www.amazon.com.au/Roborock-Q5-DuoRoller-Hands-Free-N…

Thoughts and Feedback on Roborock Q5 Pro+ Robot Vacuum

I think that he Roborock Q5 Pro+ is an affordable yet powerful robot vacuum that delivers strong suction performance and intelligent LiDAR navigation. It excels at picking up dust and pet hair, especially on carpets, thanks to its dual rubber roller brushes. The self-emptying dock is compact and efficient, featuring an extra-large 2.5-liter dust bag.

However, its mopping system is underwhelming, as it lacks mop-cleaning facilities and does not lift the mop pad on carpets. Additionally, its obstacle avoidance is basic, meaning it may struggle with cluttered floors.

      Thanks ChatJVT

    • Hmmm upstairs is more cluttered due to the kid’s bedrooms.

      What’s a better alternative?

I think it's a good price for docked. Realistically you'd pay at least $400 even with the best sales now to stay with the non-docked versions of Roborock midrange Q series.
