Hey all, I purchased an order through a build to order group on here called Obsidian Labs.
Waited since the 4th to get a tracking number provided on Monday. As of today, the Shopifty site has gone offline and I can't get hold of the company with the admin contact email provided previously on OzBargain.
Should I be concerned and what are my options in getting my money back if I don't get my PC?

With their site gone, it appears they are uncontactable.
Armed with the info from the ABN search and this address, perhaps Fair Trading NSW can advise you as to what to do next.

Not true, you could be sued for spreading this as well as it qualifies as "defamation".
If Obsidian Labs have the skills to find Kongzi from an Ozbargain account, they have the skills to make a fully functioning website with contact information.

Hmm, a sole trader who isn't registered for GST. It must be a small business to be under the GST threshold.
What method of payment did you use?
I paid with Mastercard as i do with all online transactions

Hoping it’s all just a huge coincidence and it works out brah - at least you paid using credit card and have certain protections if it goes sour.
When a business makes a huge point out of paying with non-refundable methods (payid and direct deposit) that is a huge red flag.

Maybe they are legit, maybe not. Will be interested to see how this plays out.
Usually when i rebuild a website, id keep the old one up until the new one is live. But maybe that's just me.

Received tracking update today just before 5pm. Sorry, I hadn't had a chance to get back here and make an update. Hoping it has all just been a big coincidence. If it all turns up I'll be sure to say something nice on his future ozbargain posts
Sounds more like you were bumped up the list due to the exposure on Ozbargain. If you were just some random you'd likely still be in limbo.

PC arrived after work today. System checks out. all specs as there meant to be including the 112 Rops on the 5080. While the 3-4 business days postage claim with Australia post I did receive it 9 business days after dispatching. Almost exactly 5 full weeks from purchase. Was just a coincidence the site went down, Auspost stopped tracking and radio silence all at the same time so I do apologise.
@obsidianlabspc can see you're online now, where's the site gone?
