I have this bag and I hate it!
The main compartment is very cramp and doesn't expand well. It also gets squashed up by the bottles that I've placed in both side pockets.
In this part of the country?
I purchased this but then returned it for the recon to replace my OGIO EDC.
I think I am going to return the Recon also. The bags themselves just feels cheap. The straps feel like thin stiff foam and there is no structure to the bag at all, This would probably be to cut down on weight I assume.
If you put something slightly heavy in the top pocket, like a power bank and you dont have the main compartment full, the bag just sags down on itself.Any suggestions for a great EDC I can take to work would be great.
Mine just arrived today, and you’re right. It’s super top-heavy, and even putting a power bank in it makes the whole thing sag. It’s also heavier than I expected, and it doesn’t sit upright when placed on the floor.
I picked up the Recon due to having the stretchy front pocket vs the bungee cord. I felt that the stretchy pocket would be more useful as it can store smaller things (eg. packet of tissues, book, plastic wrappers etc.
