TL;DR
Looking to buy an expensive machine, do coffee machines usually go on sale st or around EOFY? Should I wait or bite the shitty "sale" bullet with the crap offerings they have ATM?
Long version:
I've been considering buying an expensive coffee maker for some time now.
I started by going to JB and whittling down my options based on price and feature set, then I've done a lot of research on prod and cons, and ultimately settled on this:
https://www.delonghi.com/en/la-specialista-opera-manual-coff…
We're closing in quickly on mother's day and de longhi have a pretty pathetic "sale" on ATM.
However, I have a friend of mine who's also recently gone through the purchase of a much more expensive machine and during the course of his research he's discovered (and extolled upon me) that coffee machine rarely, if ever, go on sale around of EOFY. Rather, they tend to be discounted around mother's day and fathers day.
Now, my friend is very thorough in his research, but he's also somewhat of a bullshitter, in that he'll heavily embellish facts to make his point.
So my ultimate question isn't about whether to trust him or not 🤣 but to ask if other people have knowledge of whether or not I should just wait until EOFY or just get what they have on offer now.
Thanks in advance.
Rock up to jb before close June 30, they’ll prob want to cut a deal for a nice bump to EOFY figures
He was right tho better deals during mother/father day
I have an Eletta titanium and actually the best price so far has been the list price less 10% voucher (latitude processed my price protection claim no problem)
