  Anyone got a cheaper suggestion for non white wireless for Xbox, looking at Turtle Beach Stealth 500X for $130ish, kid smashing wired headsets way too quick and I hate white 🙂

        $203.45 for the black version in 5x (Xbox).

        The other 5 and 5P versions are $168 and $167.

        It's a little confusing as the 5x says it's compatible with PC, Playstation, Xbox and mobile but only the chatmix features work on Xbox. I haven't checked the other versions.

        I was able to price match the white one at JBhifi as I had a gift card there.

          The P and 5 work on PlayStation Switch and PC. They do not work on Xbox so if you don’t own or never going to own a Xbox they are good for you, if you have a Xbox or getting one one day then get the X version

  These are fantastic. My wife and I both have them. Would definitely buy a replacement if they ever broke. The sound profiles are great, the mic sounds good, the batter lasts forever, and they comfortable for long sessions.

  Does anyone know what the warranty is on Steelseries Headsets?

  Most places say 2 years, but JB says 1.

  I can't find anything online or via Steelseries that states the length

    Might be 1 on the Lower end models tho but on the 5X upwards it’s 2 years

  Unfortunately I’m going to have to return my Nova 5X white editions as I’m having this issue where it will randomly stop working. The issue is - they will work great but when I go to use them again I’ll turn on my Xbox the turn on the Headset that will power on and display on the Xbox that it’s connected but no sound what so ever comes through headset. I’ll try turning headset on and off multiple times, rebooting Xbox etc etc nothing works. Even left it for a day and tried again no sound. The only fix is unplugging usb dongle a reconnecting it for the sound to work again but then over the next few days it will stop again.

  This issue is reported on reddit too and it seems to only effect Xbox which this headset being a nova 5X is designed for.

  Very weird and very annoying

  Anyone else with this headset on Xbox have this issue?
