Cheapest 40 Inch 4k Non Smart TV

Looking for the cheapest option available for my In laws. They don’t really care about quality, so any 4k tv with a HDMI port for Amazon firestick would work.

I know I can find a used one but I have been trying to get one from Marketplace and Gumtree for almost two months, with no luck. So trying to buy a new one.

FFalcon is pretty good for this

or if you feel like gambling on a kogan which i personally wouldn't want to but they are cheaper

if you have a car to pick it up i have seen a few ffalcon's around 43 inches pop up on facebook marketplace in sydney not sure how the market is in your area but might save a few bucks going facebook marketplace route just keep your wits about ya

    • I've got a FFalcon 55 and its great. I don't use it for the smarts, just a CCTV TV. It was about $400 on special and its a lot better quality than my previous Soniq (it was like 8 years old though).

Soniq is another option, but they aren't as easy to get. They used to be sold at JB, but haven't for a number of years, its now the FFalcon brand (which from my understanding is made by TCL anyway). Looking at the Soniq Website anyway, they have no 40 inch models.

I think the OP is also going to struggle to find a 4K TV that doesn't have the smarts…… I think most that are 4K would have smarts. Just my observation, could be wrong.

No I think this is correct. Finding a dumb TV these days is quite hard you have to get lucky second hand or maybe find some refurbish store or something.
