I'm haveing a 6 hour layover in the in Hong Kong in a few weeks and was wondering if the Plaza Premium lounges are worth paying for since I don't have status for one of the other lounges.
There seems to be a 29% off special for the Plaza Premium First lounge right now

Agree, I wouldn't bother paying.
On the arrivals level there are free showers (i.e. before you go back through security to depatures level) which are usually pretty clean and unused although I think you need to pay for a towel. Otherwise honkers airport is pretty chill, plenty of seating and food options. Some gates have recliners you can easily nap in.
Plaza Premium lounge is very meh. It's your standard credit card (ie non exclusive) lounge. HK airport is a comfortable layover airport. There's plenty of places to eat and drink or just chill. There's free filtered hot and cold water dispensers close to all the gates. It's big enough to have a lot of space but not so big you have to walk past a lot of nothing to get anywhere.
