Vinegar on turf ? Won't that just kill the lawn ? I imagine most lawns won't like having their PH dramatically dropped 🤔
This is a selective herbicide - ie. you can spray it over your entire lawn and it will only kill the weeds (for most turf varieties)
Vinegar is not.
Why not use motor oil or salt? Both of those will work too!
Was planning to buy this but not this big lol.
Oxalis are sprouting everywhere huhu.
I bought Warhead Trio 10L back in 2023 which appears to be the same mixture. Cost the same as this deal. Great selective herbicide. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again if needed. Still many litres left.
if only i could round up 10 OzBargainers and split this between us.
I see what you did there…
Killer price considering 500ml is about $50.
and 500ml lasts so long unless you are constantly spraying or have a massive yard.
says 50ml per 5litre of water for 100m2 yard, assume front and back yard for a 600m2 size land, and you spray this in 4 times a year, that's 3 years worth ?
I only really use it twice a year as a broad spray, usually straight after winter. I do then use it as a spot treatment following that if any weeds sneak through.
3 years worth is a decent time, I haven't checked the expiry dates, but I'd be surprised if it was much longer than that.
I am based in Sydney, happy to share if someone is interested as well. DM me
DM closed for you. Where abouts? I am in south west and could be tempted
Just DM you
Any expiry in this?
Becomes more deadly for the weed
Ag chemicals largely don't have expiry dates. They're tested in Australian heat to last for years.
That sounds like a blanket statement that needs some evidence to back it up - most things degrade in heat and light, even with stabilisers.
Okay. Try Google. Off you go.
500ml for $90… is that cheap? I only have an average size yard
500ml is expensive. We need an ozbargain team willing to share. I have one friend willing to join but he feels a litre is enough for one person.
It depends if you need it or not, the ones for Qld Blue Couch Buffalo and Kikuyu lawns are more expensive because the cheaper ones can kill those lawns, Cheaper ones will have warnings and usually state not to be used on buffalo lawns
Cheaper here? https://www.billygoatlawns.com.au/products/bow-and-arrow-her…
Also 500ml is $54.95 not $90 for those interested.5x the product for a better price than 4 x 500ml.
Any one in Brisbane interested in sharing?
Yeah mate keen, are you north or south side?
Cheaper if you can pick it up - but it’s $37 delivery for me :(
Will this kill carpet grass in turf?
Nope - broadleaf weeds are dicots, grasses are monocots, this shouldn't work on grasses
Is this good for crabgrass?
Nope use glyphosate and spot spray
Bugger, tried that. Even hand painting crabgrass i found it killed the edges of good turf around it. Thanks!
Any tips on alternative storage containers if splitting this between some lawn enthusiasts?
Can't go wrong with glass, but thick white plastic (PVC I think) protects it from UV which will degrade it quickly. If you only have glass, make sure the lid seals (and doesn't react to the concentrate) and wrap it in paper to protect it.
Is there a discount code as it's showing $215?
Or 195$ pick up in store
